lol you clearly haven’t watched any cville games😂

Same story again. Lot of diverse scoring by Oakton while Centreville looks like an NVYLL offense focused only on #22. So much other talent on this team. Underperforming all year.

I disagree.

It looked like oakton didnt know what to do.

Cville has made improvements, while Oakton is in the same spot as they were the first time they saw cville. A few less turnovers and the game is a toss up.

Not sure what game you watched. Oakton didn’t make any adjustments from the first time they played Centreville. So much for coach of the year … probably should go to the team who has gotten better every year in Centreville.

I second that. Centreville is guaranteed to give you a better game every time they play you. Good coaching and players that have bought in.

Centreville coaches have underperformed all year. We have just as much talent on this team as Oakton.

Madison is a tough team. I bet South Lakes would win this game if Madison isnt off a loss to Westfield.

I think they had a little extra fire tonight.

The only reason they have underperformed is due to injury. If they are full strength, they only have losses to district opponents. As they should being in the best conference in the State hands down.

I feel like they’ve been the same every year with this coaching staff. I don’t see how they’ve gotten better year over year

Oakton: 12 coaches on the sidelines and 3 more on the field.

Think about their competition in Oakton and Madison.

Centreville isnt only facing the athletic hurdle, they also face the mental block of beating those two teams.

Even though they havent cut into the top two seeds in the district, they are marginally getting better in every game. You have to look at the full picture of what the coach has taken over and I bet you the Oakton and Madison coaches agree.

Give Centreville’s coach a team with 12 club players and I think it would be a different story.

Agreed. Oakton and Madison have been at the top. Centreville is getting there by boasting a better record every season. The fact that Centreville competes means that their coach is doing something right.

They already have all these club players on Offense. Coaches don’t use them.

You should make a stream for when your daughter plays in college, Id love to hear your commentary on a D1 coaching staff.

You forget, it isnt just the coach. Sometimes the kids have to want to do it too. Thats the reason a lot of club kids sit the bench in college.

Interesting… if this was true, all of Centreville’s club kids wouldn’t have won district awards. Which they did, because they produce- just learning more for big games!
