Yea, but sounds like he already told some stories of what may have happened. So maybe he does recall or he thinks he remembers.

How can he speak to what happened after he passed out?

Were those stories from AFTER he passed out? Or did he dream it?!

Isn’t it possible for memories to come back? And do we ever know if those or real or imagined memories? I genuinely don’t know as I’ve never been black out drunk.

I understand. But it’s not known to 99% of people except Indians who go through. I work with lot of other country people who used to ask why I did not get my green card . There are various you tube video and memes making fun of Indians getting their green card in death bed or they apply when they are young and prime and get it when they are old and inactive . It was not the case before 2000. I wish they restrict the H1B to 7% cap too so people won’t come in hope and wait . Another thing is sometimes your employer should be willing to apply for the 1st step in green card process immediately. Some might post pone it for years which might push you further back in line.

Any further green card process discussion should be taken to a seaprate thread. You can create one if there isn't already a thread to join.

The green card sidebar is very interesting. And relevant to the thread to counter all the anti-Indian chatter.

It may have been informative. Details can continue elsewhere.

Who are YOU? We find it interesting and informative background info to Sudiksha and her family.

And wasn't it given by the thorough post? What more is there to know about that aspect of them?

Well we don’t know if there is more to know. Do YOU?

About a green card process for immigrants from one country? Do tell, what is it that you think there is more to know about??

Well don’t know what we don’t know. But apparently YOU know everything. GOod on you. Now find Sudiksha.

If you are interested in the immigration process and those details, and to know what you may not know: create a new thread in off-list forum, jobs or another forum. You can link that thread here if you discover or share info related to this young woman.

Thanks for your faux concern. This thread is doing fine as is. Feel free to spinoff as you wish.

NP. It has been a very productive thread at certain points, amongst people who actually care and aren't using this forum to blow off anger by trolling other posters. How about we keep it productive in respect of the young girl that is likely passed and her family? How about you both beat it.

There are hundreds of not more reviews reporting being drugged in just DR, not just at that resort. Women and men report spiked drinks and tainted cigarettes.

Here’s another example

#50 of 68 ·
no surprise here. day by day more reports of assault by staff is coming up.

I thought people were nuts when I would read these artciles until i went to DR myself and saw the corruption with my own eyes

Video shows the beach is some distance from the resort. She was alone and unprotected and visibly impaired.

I don't see anywhere on there that kidnapping wealthy American tourists for sex trafficking is a thing. The whole point of sex trafficking is taking people who no one is going to make a fuss over, or who maybe no one will even notice is missing. An American college student is not that.

This isn't an American tourist in fact the title should be missing college student from India

She was a student at an American college. Living at an American college.
Why are you people so invested in othering people??

Country need tourism.
many people need places to vacation and Caribbean area has been popular. People are still going after reading or hearing such stories. What next?

He claims to have passed out on a lounger, ie, was unconscious. When you are unconscious you are not creating memories. Being blackout drunk is not the same as passed out.

This is another horror story, from a mom who was drugged and raped and extorted in DR.

https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/woman-says-she-was-attacked-while-island-vacation/PEDFYDIM4FGMPDSOSKYLX6MNYE/?outputType=amp

Glad she survived.

The family may do well to spread a bit of cash around, might loosen the tongues of locals and staff. Or not, there is a large criminal element, talking could be dangerous. DR runs on the uneasy mix of tourism and crime/drugs.

ok if he was "passed out" but then momentarily saw or thought he saw Sudiksha in the water or coming out of the water - even if we assume he's being truthful - there's no way to guess whether is a true memory or an imagined one, right?

I hope the family is very aware of the conditions and accounts by other guests leading up to her incident. I’m so glad, now, to know American and Indian LE are there. That’s also what Natalie Halloway’s mother is saying. Local LE is definitely corrupt and wants to protect tourism.

I hope they sue RUI like crazy.

It’s cheap and people go for the all inclusives to party. They think it won’t happen to them.

LE will also likely protect drug networks and criminal elements.

The latest version was a bit self aggrandizing. She could have been harmed by someone that guy has no knowledge of, it’s possible. Or by him. Time may tell.

Almost drowning tends to sober people up more rapidly, near death tends to dump adrenaline. It has actually been studied. Near death would be unlikely to cause her to re-enter the water by herself, in the dark, when he had exited it. There was some moonlight, but not a full moon.

His lack of concern for her in raising the alarm, or even doing so when friend told him she had not returned are big red flags. He said she was at the shore, heroically, in front of him. So where is she?

So much of the stories don’t really add up. But there could be huge missing pieces unknown to him.

^ re his lack of concern:
Was he so drunk that he wouldn't have been able to have concern for her? Don't know. Or are you talking about after her friends may have told him she was missing, did he not show concern then?

Your last point - if there are that many people who have been affected at that resort, isn't that more than just a "they"?
