What’s the latest? Are we just waiting on Supreme Court decision?

Why didn’t I get any of the Trump farm payments?

Because you are not a farmer.
Why won't my kids who have paid off their student loans get any money from this give away as a way of being rewarded for being responsible?

Because they have no loan debt.

I also don’t run a rinky dink small business, and I didn’t get any PPP loans.

You're right. They don't. Because they are responsible and were not waiting around for the government to bail them out.

Great. And I didn’t get farm bailouts because I don’t run a farm that needed a bailout. Not everyone benefits from every program.

We are talking about a program that tens of thousands - if not millions - WOULD be eligible for if they had not been responsible and paid off their loans or if they had not chosen a school that was less costly to avoid tons of student debt. Then, we also have to consider those that decided NOT to go to college altogether because they could not afford college loans.

Of course not everyone benefits from every program. But, *this* bail out, in particular, millions of Americans view as not only unfair, but unconstitutional.

This is nothing more than buying votes. I hope it backfires bigly for the incompetent boob residing in the White House.

Let's see, tech and crypto banks bailed out and the Fed still increasing interest rates. My 2008 crystal ball tells me y'all are going to get screwed and repayment will start 6 months after SCOTUS says nope on forgiveness.

DCUM is the land of $500k HHI “middle class” families. Nobody on here has student loans.

What happens if you don’t pay? They’ll hurt your credit and garnish SS & assets but they can’t jail you for it.

Why are student loans still being issued to students?

This is sad. Fat cats stole PPP, while prole Generation Y and Z delay and often never reach milestones their parents and grandparents easily achieved.

Homes, degrees and weddings: Younger generations delay costly life milestones

Yeah. It's sad that this age group is so heavily impacted by inflation. Yet, Biden still keeps spending.............

Those loans don’t work well for their intended purpose if people are begging for them to be forgiven.
