Does your principla do this (or other things you know)?

From some recent chatters:

  • Hearst principal leaves to make cupcakes.

Noyes principal follows to do the same.

    (maybe there are more)

    Murch principal resigns.

    So does AP.

    Stokes principal gets fired.

Janney principal doesn't get along with teachers and may be leaving in a year or two. (rumor?)

Yu Ying principal hires her mother to replace a popular receptionist.

  • What does your principal do?

I looooove the Janney Principal. Yep, she does not cow tow to teachers or parents. She cares deeply about the students. She sets a very high moral (respectful, caring) and academic bar at the school and does handle the various crazy personalities with aplomb. The Janney community has become a much more egalitarian and welcoming to all students during her tenure. I hope she does not leave.

    Signed,

    A happy Janney Parent

OP, you sound like a stupid pot stirrer.

Are you one of the principals/friends/schools whose pot got stirred?

Glad the happy Janney parent spoke up and defended her principal.

Cupcakes are all the rage these days. None of our business, however. Hiring your own mother is a complete different game. Is that true? Did anyone say something? the board? the PTA?

This is a YY parent. Don't know/think if anything was said. There was no announcement.

It took parents quite some time to find out she IS the mother of the principal. I ran into her at Target one day recently with the principal's children and only then I figure out she is the grandmother.

No one has complained? I'm surprised to see this is tolerated.

You're welcome. (This lesson was brought to you by one of those lazy, no-good, union teachers)

Oh stop, most of us love our teachers and feel that the union is overreaching. but most of the teachers are pretty awesome. Well I think so anyway.
