Links were given to the phone story a page or 2 bag and I corrected myself and said it was the woman who had a phone, not the pilot.
The pilot and his wife were allegedly estranged, but living in the same home up until right before the flight. I thought about the mistress angle too, but I would hope if there was a mistress, investigators would eventually find out through friends and question her. I really hope after all this money and all the work the FBI is doing we don't find out the deleted files in the simulator were porn! ![]() |
Now they are saying that ACARS data shows that the turn was not pre-programmed on the plane. Normal route to Beijing was programmed with nothing unusual. So the new theory is something probably went wrong….
|
I think this is pretty likely to be true, and sadly is about all we can say. Something went wrong (human, mechanical, who knows?) on that flight. |
Who is they? |
It's being reported on CNN. "They" being the Malaysian authorities |
Makes you wonder how much of the original information from the Maylays about pings, radar, etc. is accurate. |
Unfortunately I don't trust anything they say. They keep contradicting themselves. |
I'm not seeing this reported on CNN. |
+1 the dissemination of information on this whole event has been horrible. |
They are reporting now that it looks like a cell phone that was on left caused the autopilot malfunction. Wow...just wow. |
Who is reporting this? |
Yes it is, I am watching it on CNN |
Wait, what? Can you find a link? I googled, not finding it. You are saying that they are reporting that a passenger cell phone left on may have interfered with the autopilot??? |
I bet the folks at Boeing are facepalming. |
I think this is an attempt at a joke. If not, let's get the links. |
