Umm wrong. Republicans control all three branches of government! The Republicans should put forth an appropriations bill that will pass, not a crappy CR no one wants. Johnson is incompetent. He should do his job!

I don’t understand why the democrats won’t just come out and say that the republicans won’t show up to open the government is because if the trumpstein files.

They have been doing very clever IG reels about it. I’ve seen 4 women reps show closed doors, looking for reps, and doing empty office tours. My favorite was McBride’s when she opened a hall closet looking for Johnson. 🤣

Catastrophic is a plan that only pays for a major accident or hospitalization so you won’t go broke from that. But doesn’t pay for routine doctor visits and preventative things.

A new poll shows Americans blame Trump and Republicans over Democrats for the shutdown 53%-37%. (Independents blame Trump by a nearly 3-to-1 margin, 58%-21%.).

This won't end well for the GOP, and as the economy deteriorates and people see Trump building a boondoggle ballroom, there will be anger in the streets.

I guess that is what the armed ICE are for.

For Democrats to accept any CR they need to get something in return. But in order for that to happen Mike Johnson needs to bring the House back. Somebody needs to tell him that "my way or the highway" is not how Bill's become law.
