I wish it were true. My ds has to leave cc1 because it just want very competitive. NPL was better and now he’s in ECNL and it’s a match

Being someone who has coached boys in both league you don’t know what you are talking about. CCL1 for boys is the most competitive of all the leagues. Can say anything for girls, but if you have a boy you want them in CCL. CCL2 teams are a crap shoot.

As a former coach I’m surprised you think CCL is more competitive than ECNL. Did you coach for Loudoun?

Loudoun is garbage. As in Toxic and ass-licking environment full of corruption across the board organization wise and an absolute scam and mockery of a soccer club.

We joke with our community when calendars are out. We circle the game against Loudoun in green marker because +3 guaranteed in the bag against that trash

Bitter, table for one? What happened? Your kid get cut?

Realistic. Table for two. I have no kids. are you a paid staffer? How’s that 30% sálate reduction while your 5 directors increase their earnings by 15%? Oh you didn’t know? Hmmm I wonder why

I love you man. And I think CCL1 is not a bad league. I think it is/was a lot better than NPL. But it is clearly behind MLS Next and ECNL - and claiming that it isn't is just silly.

The thing is there are just too many teams in the VA/DC area just to have one league. This is not MLS where you can have 26 teams and play down to a winner. It doesn't even work all that well for them now. You can reshuffle the decks all you want, but the same good players will be the same good players. I would like to see more players and parents taking pride in their local club and league whether it be ECNL or CCL. That is what we are missing here. They are playing soccer. If your child is really good they will get a shot no matter what. No college coach who is a student of the game is gong to take a crap player just because they play in a better league.

The problem is that kids need good coaches, good teammates and strong competition to develop. So if the kids stay on their local teams they will never develop to their full potential, never become as good as they could, and this they may well miss on their shot. Even for college - let alone the pros.

And yes - of course - most won't even sniff the pros. But you can't pick out the ones that will at 9, or 13, or even 16. Heck even Manchester City and Barcelona can't identify at 16 which kids will make the pros - most of the kids in their academies don't make it. So it is perfectly reasonable for a hundred kids to want to try, even though only one will make it. And so those 100 kids need to find the best coach, the best teammates, and the best competition they can.

I'm fairly certain I can pick out the DMV kids who won't make the pros with 99.99% accuracy (hint- all of them)

None of those clubs are ncsl clubs but what I'm still wondering is why they would let fsci they have nothing to add none of their teams are competitive or good or able to compete in ccl2
