Doesn't the Head Case have her DD play for every team within YJMA? In 12 pages of comments, there has yet to be 1 post supporting/backing this club and the actions of the director. That is even more telling than the posts above. Someone call an ambulance, there's reported Cases of bad allergic reactions to being Stung here. |
Her daughter is a 2027. What year was she playing at? |
She plays her on all the teams. 27/26/25/24. She is not that good of a player either. She is big in size, but plays very dirty and dangerously. |
Should not really go after kids on this board. Parents and adults are free range but kids are any team should be left off the board. Not a yellow jacket fan or a parent just a parent. |
Shouldn't you know the answer to this since you are the coach and YJMA director? All those tactics and win at all costs schemes didn't work out with that big L you took. At least A for effort in not only bringing in a 26 goalie but a 26 from a pretty solid MD program. |

That is terrible. It was a play day...not a play off. I hope all of those girls find homes with other programs this summer. |
Let’s not forget our HS student as the coach and our “youth director” showing up for a single game and didn’t know hardly any of the girls names! |
I am one the parent to one of the Maryland players and the coach to both of them in Maryland. I assure you they were both 2027’s and came up to enjoy a play day with their friends and maybe make some new friends. A play day, not a tournament, not a playoff, a play day. An opportunity to let the girls play other teams after a year of craziness. If a player can and wants to play on 40 teams- let them, they are kids. Rule is you can play up not down. Doesn’t sound like anyone played down. I played in Nova, coached in Nova for years and played and coached in college , the area has a ton of potential, if the parents get out of the way. |
Ha, look it's LC again. You mean the Maryland United 26 goalie that sprinted from the 26 game to play in the game against a team of ALL 2028s? Or how about after the real YJMA 28 goalie got pulled in the middle of the 2nd half to put the 26 back in to win at all costs? That is your definition of a "play day"? Where YJMA had to borrow players from YJ South just to play? Or how about explaining why the field changed from the Turf full field to the short grass field (even after they cancelled all Grass field games?)?????? Take this bs elsewhere. YJMA is a joke, and as mentioned above, I hope the families getting swindled see the true intentions and find new homes with real clubs. |
It’s definitely not LC.
The goalie does play for MD United 2027, as she was born in 2009 and is in 6th grade. She takes any opportunity to play and when she was asked to play for the 2026 team she gladly did. Feel free to email me to confirm this is not LC- you can find my contact info on the club page. |
Check tourney machine to confirm where the 2026 MDU goalie was- western regional playing in an NGLL game.
Then feel free to check the 2027 schedule- we had a bye. These are kids playing lacrosse. The mission statement of US Lacrosse is to grow the game. Grow the game! |
Good job deflecting here. Didn't answer or respond to anything else pointed out. So your definition of growing the game is to not play Actual YJMA players and instead play other team players just to win? And you still couldn't do that. 2 or 3 players touched the ball the whole game from the YJ team. Sounds like a great team atmosphere and game plan. Glad you got invited to play, but the true mission of YJMA and LC was to win at all costs. MD United is a well respected program, YJMA not at all. |
Not deflecting stating facts.
Fact- as you can now confirm- was a 2027 goalie not 2026- argument for bringing older players to win- debunked Fact- The grass field- talked to the tournament director that day. The goal was to reopen the field so the teams could play full games. They did everything they could to do that. In the meantime moving games and shortening them to keep on schedule. It makes sense to always put the younger teams on the smaller fields and HS girls on lather field. Fact- not once was winning mentioned when we were asked to play. Hey we have a play day - do you want to come down? Sure. and if they didn’t win, which honestly I have no clue, then I’m not positive to why you are so upset. Fact- you have choices in club teams. If you chose YJ and your daughter made it, and you are this unhappy, try out for another team. If you are on another team and your sole purpose is to destroy another club team, there may be bigger personal issues there. If your trying to destroy a team because of your issues, you are screwing things up for other CHILDREN. Fact- this is about kids not adults. Make that the focus. Fact- parents can ruin their daughters chances of playing at higher levels. I wish all the players from all teams luck. I met Liz briefly this weekend, played against her in college. She is strong, dedicated and passionate and knows the game. Like every human, she may not be everyone’s cup of tea- none of us are everyone’s cup of tea. However she has committed to building a program, and again everyone has choices. My daughter and my goalie had fun, learned something and made a few new friends. That is the goal of Lacrosse. |
Of course they had fun, they had a free day of lacrosse in addition to the many other opportunities they have with their regular teams. However, the girls who paid to be part of the program and didn't see the field at one of their only play dates had a lot less fun. That is not building a program and did not help develop the players that are in the program. I am sure you were not aware of the situation you were walking into when you were asked to join the play day, but you need not sugar coat the intentions of the coach. |
