Plus, hello, she could have easily left/run if she was "afraid" for her life. |
Yep she did it on purpose! It's disgusting. |
Attempted murder-by-cop. White people know very well what they are doing when they call the cops on black people for innocuous things. |
I wouldn’t let a stranger give my dog a treat. But I also would keep my dog on the leash. In addition to being a crazy entitled racist she doesn’t seem to be a very good dog owner. All those incidents in 2 years. Watching the mess she made of her life made me appreciate the quiet day we had with family. WTH was she thinking? |
Franklin Templeton, an investment firm, posted a statement on Twitter She probably won't loser her job. Just have to do some HR Sensitivity Training. |
She wasn’t afraid for her life or anything else. She felt a Black man had risen up beyond his place by requesting she do something she didn’t want to do/didn’t feel he has the right to ask, so she decided to put him in harms way by pretending she was in danger. This is classic lunching playbook stuff if you’ve ever bothered me read Wells’ A Red Record. White woman claims Black man was violating her safety or chastity, white men respond, Black man is arrested and/or killed. This is why White women are so dangerous. We are insidiously harmful this way because we instinctively know how coddled and protected we are in white society and very manipulatively weaponize that when it’s convenient. White women might think they walk around looking friendly and harmless but that is not how POC see is and for very good reason. |
Lynching* not lunching |
She returned her dog to where it was adopted from. Just as well because she was choking the poor animal. She be charged with animal cruelty and made to volunteer at shelters for both humans and animals. She has had repercussions from her employer. |
Uh why the hell would anyone let her volunteer with vulnerable people? They don’t have to serve themselves up for her to learn about human decency. |
Nope she will lose her job. I work at a big four consulting firm and I can tell you this is definitely grounds for losing your job. It's always drilled into us that what we do outside of work can reflect poorly on our firm. I will not be surprised if she's let go. |
Exactly. If the dog is under your control, then they are under your control. |
Dog was free running, disturbing and tearing up the field cultivated for bird watching. He should have narrated that he was going to give the dog treats instead of say if you’re going to do what you want, I’ll do what I want. That is scary for a woman to hear when she is by herself. But as a dog owner in the park- there are signs of the leash laws posted. |

Her life isn't a mess she'll bounce back in 2 months tops and it'll be little more than a funny story to share at parties for folks to laugh about. |
