Agree! Though I was suspicious about the bright sunny day with everyone wearing light jackets on Thanksgiving on Philly - but I just thought it was a production detail that was missed.

mid 50's in philly in late November isn't strange. and sunny skies are also not strange.

not dinner time and bright sun, yeah not so much. since its dark so early now..

Well, that theory didn't hold up too well (not surprisingly -- thinness does not make you mentally healthy)

Then again, why did Kate feel the need to tell him it wasn't Jack's first solid food? Kids have firsts without their parents all the time. The person who saw it can always just shut up about it. (I did when I was babysitting for a toddler who learned how to jump while the rest of the family was out.)

Yes, this really bugged me! Why did she tell? More importantly, why did Toby react so badly? He recovered quickly enough, but still. The scene was stupid.

Now, Toby trashing Kate to some chickie at the gym. Bad, Toby. Very, very bad. Everything Kate's gone through with the pregnancy, premature birth, discovery of Jack's blindness, seeing Toby achieve a goal she's longed to achieve herself her whole life. The disloyalty to her is just awful.

The flash-forwards seem like they're 10 years in the future -- everyone is gray. I wonder if they're going to have this play out over a decade.

I think the flash forward is only 9 months. Randall told Kevin that their 40th was only 9 months away. Now i hate Toby and feel bad for Kate. And why in the flash forward are Kevin and Randall not speaking?

I loved the birth Mon storyline. I have an adopted DD and feel like this is something we are all going to be dealing with in a few years.

In his own home, yes. He would know exactly how many steps from kitchen to table, etc.
