Ya know as I write about people taking civics classes, I'm starting to realize that people don't actually care. They just like to come on and make declarations on others lack of humanity and blah blah blah without having a clear grasp on what is going on, why and the options for fixing it.
I get that you hate the president however the president doesnt control the purse strings. You look like idiots bringing up golfing and Mar-a-largo when they have absolutely nothing to do with funding needed to address the crisis at the border that officials have been warning about literally for months. It's like arguing with overly emotional teenagers who know nothing but still want to scream in your face that you're a jerk. |
Where can I send soap to the guards who have to deal with these measles and smallpox and lice ridden illegals? They should seriously be washing their hands about 1000 times a day. |
The crisis wasn't 2 years ago. It's now after building for months and officials warning congress this would happen |
+1 And if Trump wins in 2020 it’s probably in part due to this behavior. |
You really believe this, don't you Jesus No heart AND no brain |
This is emergency funding. Because it's an emergency. The administration warned congress for months they needed this. Congress sat on their asses. Democrats did manage to pass amnesty the other week though while completely ignoring the multiple warnings people have them. |
Link articles that say there was a crisis in 2017. There are plenty that say immigration had dipped in 2017 before building to the cluster it is now. |
+1 But Jim Acosta says there’s no border crisis. It’s calm on the border. And CNN isn’t #fakenews. |
Yeah. Just Lok at the comments.. you're so heartless! These people can't be serious |
Yep, pretty much |

Actually we can’t. Trumps president. These kids are illegals, so... |
It was a “crisis” a year ago when the GOP still had the house and the senate. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/crisis-border-numbers/ June 20, 2018 WHAT WAS SAID “What the president reiterated again yesterday, and he has said every day from when he sought this office, is we have a crisis of illegal immigration.” — Vice President Mike Pence, meeting with members of Congress on Wednesday. “These smugglers know these rules and regulations better than the people that drew them. As a result, there’s been a 325 percent increase in minors, and a 435 percent increase in the smuggling or attempted smuggling of families and minors into our country.” — President Trump, speaking to the National Federation of Independent Businesses on Tuesday. “In the last three months we've seen illegal immigration on our southern border exceed 50,000 people each month. Multiples over each month last year.” — Kirstjen Nielsen, the homeland security secretary, at a news conference on Monday. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/20/us/politics/fact-check-trump-border-crossings-declining-.html |
