When a person continues to evade answering a simple question with defensive digressions, that person is no longer trustworthy. |
Wow. I already linked to the news article saying the baby was placed with the maternal grandparents upon the arrest of the fiancée. Funny the PP has provided no factual basis or proof that this statement was anything but their imaginary wish - the temporary custody hearing for CPS to place the baby with her maternal grandparents. |
Ah, that would make sense. |
12/27/18 1:00 PM 1H BERRETH, KELSEY Temporary Custody Hearing D602018JV26 Teller County DIV 11 - TELLER DISTRICT COURT https://www.courts.state.co.us/dockets/index.cfm#results |
Grandma might also have been trash talking this mother too. Grandma mightbot have minded the murder so much as that leaves the child with her full time. |
+1 similar reaction from Scott Peterson's family and the Utah killer's family |
Since her name appears does that mean she filed it? |
I'm sure that his mom did side with her son. That doesn't automatically mean that she was involved in Kelsey's murder/disappearance or that she was happy to hear that Kelsey is almost certainly dead. She is also disabled so she might have a hard time taking full time custody of the baby even if she truly would love to do so. The solicitation charge really does indicate that he put a fair amount of planning into this so he must have been having issues with Kelsey for awhile. Since he lived with his mom, his mom probably heard all sorts of things about Kelsey that may or may not have been true. If that's the case she likely did have a negative opinion of Kelsey. |
Hearing was about current custody of the child.

Just as an additional point of interest in this terribly tragic case: as the cited stories note, the baby's other grandparents also were seeking custody of her at this time. The whole thing is utterly horrific.... |
Link? I haven’t read anything about Mrs. Frazee seeking custody. And AFAIK she’s not married. |
Nevermind, found it myself. |
To PP who found the link -- thanks for the clarification. There's no mention of a paternal grandfather so my post was askew.
I'm a DC transplant now living in Denver, and following the tragedy mainly through the Denver Post, but it's behind the firewall (RE print). However, the Denver Channel is providing solid video/print as well: https://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/local-news/judge-says-parents-of-missing-woodland-park-mom-will-get-temporary-custody-of-berreth-and-frazees-child. All so sad.... |
Friends of Patrick Frazee were unable to be in attendance at the custody hearing today (December 27, 2018) because it was a closed proceeding in Cripple Creek, Colorado. But the good news is that Kaylee will now be with his family. Imagine that . . . the court giving temporary custody to Patrick's family and not Kelsey's family. This does not surprise those who know the history of Patrick and Kelsey. |
Okay, Friend of Frazee. |
