reality check please - husband who sometimes forgets to lock the front door at night

I'm shocked that people just relax at home with their doors unlocked. Growing up we always kept our doors locked. The only real-time the door would be unlocked is when we were little and playing in the backyard while my mother watched from the window. Now that I thnk about it, all my close adult friends do the same. This is unheard of to me, where do you live? lol

So you’re just sitting in the house with the doors unlocked until the system does it automatically?
