Marriage without sex

Anonymous
She isn't necessarily cheating. I can imagine sex can get sort of been-there-done-that after years and years together.

I'm a 40-something single mom who hasn't had sex in 2 years because there isn't anyone with whom I want to have sex. And in general, I really like sex. But I'm always busy with kid stuff and other obligations, so the idea of having sex just falls by the wayside. I like to think that if I were married and had an actual person available to have sex, I'd have sex with him. But who the hell knows. From what my married friends say, this isn't all that uncommon. Sex isn't something everyone prioritizes, I guess.

Sorry, man. I hope things turn around.

Wow what a rut she is in. She knows she has to do the duty sex to keep her life style, but no doubt hopes to be a young widow.

You think she is just entitled to her lifestyle? That when you marry it's his job to ensure your lifestyle to keep you happy and her job, well whatever she feels like? Maybe you entitled slave owner viewpoint is the root of most marriage problems.

Do you think you're entitled to sex whenever you want it just because you are married. It's her job to keep you happy...just because you get a itch. Maybe YOUR entitled indentured servant viewpoint is the root of most marital problems.

Barring major health problems etc. having sex is part of a marriage. Yes it’s a commitment. And yes you should try to make your partner happy. What’s wrong with that? You sound pretty pathetic.
