I don’t know why so many posters think a healthy relationship is “boring.”

That couple is inspiring and encouraging.

It IS boring. And that's ok, preferable for real life. It's just not good TV We're here for the drama and the train wrecks clearly.

TV has trained you in an ugly way.

Those people we are watching from the couch are real.

Are you new to reality TV? What kind of a rock do you live under?

Unlike a rock, I have self awareness. I have not ceded my humanity to media magnates .

Right right, noting that a quiet stable couple doesn't make as good of TV as drama is lacking self awareness. Maybe come back to planet earth. You can't be some high and mighty virtuous nun while posting on a thread about reality trash

You really don’t have to be Mother Theresa to believe that it is not entertaining to watch damaged people self destruct.

But you can keep telling yourself that.

I will throw my remote at my TV next week if Mike says no to Emma.

I predict that Devonta will leave Brittany at the altar. Feel like the rest could go either way.

But Christine and Vic are a lock, don’t you think?

NP. I think so, yes, about Christine and Vic.

Mike should say no. He wants kids, it's a non-negotiable. He shouldn't marry someone who "might" change her mind on that topic. But I could also see Emma saying no, for the same reason. However, Mike does seem to really love her. Does she love him? I can't tell.

Devonta and Brittany are this season's Nancy and Bartise. Painful to watch. Same with Ashley and Alex. Agree with everyone he is both messed up and gross.

Really don't know about Amber and Jordan. I could see them saying no but continuing to date after the show.

I agree Mike's a no, as he should be. He wants it to work out, but you don't marry someone with such a huge issue hanging over them. Jordan's a good guy but taking on a step-kid is a huge responsibility. They should both say no and continue to work on the relationship, including the little girl.
The others are obviously a no. Agree they put weirdly-spliced Vic and Christine footage in because they're the only yes!

There was a lot of glazing of Jordan in comments, but I think he's too immature to take on that role. Maybe eventually, but not now. Also, I'm pretty sure he just likes Amber because he finds her very attractive. And she likes him because he's actually nice to her. That doesn't mean they should be together. I predict a break-up, initiated by Amber. I'd be happy to be wrong, but I don't think so.

Couldn't agree with this more. They don't seem compatible, like at all. He seems like a man-child who still has some growing up to do. Also, not very willing to compromise. She has a much nicer house, but he wants his house because he wants proximity to bars. That's not someone who is going to prioritize family life. I think she deserves better.

Yeah, I don't think Jordan is good stepfather material right now and I'm disappointed in Amber for not recognizing that. You don't take that big of a leap of faith with a child's feelings and stability in the mix.

I think initially viewers thought Amber would dump him because he wasn't her equal in terms of physical attributes and were worried for him. He may be genial but he's a very basic bro type otherwise. Look at his behavior in the bar. She needs a grown-up. She'd probably end up nagging the sh*t out of him.

Okay, he has little going for him…but why are people acting like she is a beauty queen. She looks sort of damaged to me. Dresses too sexually. Fake breasts. Overprocessed hair.

I think she has been through a lot. But she seems like a caring mom,

It's just the physical comparison. Yes, she looks a little rough and has had a hard life. But she still is physically striking, and far more attractive than he is. Plus has her 'ish' together, even if she's had bad luck with men. If he was an absolutely phenomal and mature human being, the physical differences wouldn't matter, and they are both ripe for glow-ups, but I think people are giving him too much credit.

She looked great a few years back with darker, longer hair. The blonde doesn't work for her.

You're right, she does look nice with that dark reddish/brownish hair.

Blonde hair is funny, I think it has to be done well and healthy or else all you see is just dry frizzle.

Np- he clearly has food addiction issues and Netflix is showing it bc he is heavy and they think it’s funny and fine. They constantly show him eating. All he needs is ozempic and to exercise a little.

Anonymous wrote:About Bri and Connor. I thought she was very honest. Too honest, maybe, but I don't think it's crazy to want to be with a man who lives like a grownup and has ambitions. He's a really good guy, but that doesn't mean they're compatible. My hope with them is that they continue to date, and he makes a modest effort to level up and she makes a modest effort to "level down." I wouldn't rule out their meeting in the middle and finding a way to make it work. But the disparities are too big right now to go to the altar. Maybe too big, period, but time will tell.

She wants to be with someone who can lead. She is too alpha to be with another alpha. She needs someone like Connor.

That’s the problem with her though.
She doesn’t really want a guy to out-alpha her. He would have to be a total a$$ Chris. She would find it exciting for like three minutes and then she’d be pussed that she didn’t get her way and he’d be irritated that she wasn’t submissive enough.
In any case, Connor should never settle for a woman who speaks to him with the disdain that she does. She doesn’t even like him. At all. The only compliments she ever gave him was that she loved the way HE loved her. Ewwww. Narcissist much?

Unless he thinks coming with a [calculated] mea culpa will help his reputation, he ain’t coming. He is manipulative so maybe he thinks he can manage to look contrite. He’s the worst.

OMG!!! He tried to seduce a woman who was in a loving relationship with, “we could have been f&ck buddies.”

And the fact that he would take her to an expensive hotel. Is he used to impressing prostitutes??

She was completely into it right up until he said “f*** buddies”
Her face changed instantly from feeling flattered and turned on to feeling insulted.

Connor is too good for both of them

I don't know what episode you were watching. She was physically cringing away from him when he said he could have turned it up in the pods and won her over. There was a nervous laugh at one point but she was *not* completely into it.

Watch it back again.
She was not cringing. She was sailing “yeah” and “I know” waaaaay too much for a girl who claimed that she thought what he was saying was inappropriate .
She stayed to listen to his smarmy pitch way too long. And it was only after he said the phrase “f$&# buddies” that she physically recoiled.

Uummmmm. Girl. It’s one thing to say that to your therapist or even in a private confessional moment to your close girlfriends, but this was on TV! Those children you have are actual people who are going to see this one day.
Keep those inside thoughts INSIDE.

One of the most damaging things to a person’s self worth is feeling that you are unwanted and unloved by your own mother. She may think that that isn’t what she was expressing, but her kids won’t see it that way. And it’s such a painfully unnecessary thing to say to the world for your kids to hear. Just makes me sad for their future selves.

I think a lot of people feel that way. It's also really easy to say AFTER you have kids, because the implication would be that you get to do life "both ways". I don't think it's that bad of a comment. Parents always brag about getting to experience both CF life (before kids) and parent life (after kids). Admitting and acknowledging that parenting is hard is admirable, not shameful imo. And it IS hard! CF life, living for yourself is objectively much easier.

But still, very strange to say it that way in her 2 minutes on national TV. It's not like we got to see her and know the complexities she's dealing with.

It was a nuanced statement, and she was trying to support her sister. I have zero problem with it.

That wasn’t nuance.
That was “omg I can’t stand this life I
chose. Parenting is hard and if I had known it was this hard I would never have done it—and want a do-over….but I live my kids though”
No nuance in that.
Just heartbreak sh|t you can’t take back.

Amber being a girls girl and level headed has made her so much more attractive. I thought she looked so old looking before but now I see it. The hair does not suit her. The styling is very old fashioned.
