He's such trash.

Yeah, that was some gaslighting trash. But why is she with him? Because she finds him hot? Seriously, it's inexplicable.

Run, Connor, run!
Do not marry the girl who tells you to your face that you aren’t an alpha male. She doesn’t respect you.

I cant imagine dumping someone because they didn't
a) talk over you
b) tell you what you wanted to eat

Makes me want to gag

She's looking for more confidence and assertiveness. I don't agree with her, but that's her preference. That's the kind of guy she respects. It's okay, he's better off and will find someone more compatible who adores him!

The kind of guys he respects is one who doesn't respect women? No thanks.

But yes on Connor, he will find someone great.

Ashley mentioned she was in an abusive relationship previously. And she's maga. She probably thinks this is what relationships are supposed to be.

His professional prospects are weak, he expects her to uproot her life frequently, and doesn't express strong physical attraction to her? Is her self-esteem that poor? She's nice and objectively very attractive, don't understand why she feels the need to settle for this.

Oh, I missed the maga piece. So she's another one who wants an alpha? Well good luck to her, I guess.

Her self esteem is definitely low. And she's objectively gorgeous! It's too bad he isn't attracted to her.

Watching this now and I think there's some weird editing going on. Because 1) her voice changes from the previous sentence and you can tell she's been crying, and 2) he has essentially zero reaction to her weird "out-alpha me" screed which makes me think that it's possible he asked her something like "what was the thing that you had to overcome to decide to marry me" or something. It sounds like she's saying the craziest rudest stuff but it's sandwiched in between two outpourings of love for him and also she's somehow weeping before the rude part? Feels like they had a really long conversation about what they're thinking about saying yes/no at the altar and it got edited to make her look insane.

I think she would benefit from therapy.

It is sexist.

I don’t know why so many posters think a healthy relationship is “boring.”

That couple is inspiring and encouraging.

It IS boring. And that's ok, preferable for real life. It's just not good TV We're here for the drama and the train wrecks clearly.

TV has trained you in an ugly way.

Those people we are watching from the couch are real.

Are you new to reality TV? What kind of a rock do you live under?

100% on the editing. We have no idea what their conversation actually looked like. This show definitely plays with editing, hence the gold goblets!

I really like Connor. I would love to meet the alpha guy who speaks over me, orders for me without asking, picks fights at bars, and also is an equal partner at home and cares for my feelings. Lolol, good luck!

Right right, noting that a quiet stable couple doesn't make as good of TV as drama is lacking self awareness. Maybe come back to planet earth. You can't be some high and mighty virtuous nun while posting on a thread about reality trash
