Great chart! Anyone have a breakdown like this for Ivy+ |
Even if this were true (strongly doubt it) they’re actually qualified to be there academically. |
How many rich black people do you think are out there? |
Rich or at least UMC - quite a few. We are now more than a generation into Affirmative Action. There was a nice growth in AA students at top schools in the late 80s into the 90s and their kids are now applying to college. It isn't a huge number so they are definitely in demand, but it isn't a trivial number either. |

Important thing is who gets to define "qualified."
Some believe that a 1500+ SAT out of a HS where the average is 1400 is better than a 1500+ SAT out of a HS where the average is 990. Some believe in rewarding children because their parents are successful. |
Whatever it is, we are past the point where it’s skin color. |
NP. Unearned Asian-privilege is what the OP’s chart demonstrates. Why aren’t you challenging unearned Asian-privilege,” PP ? I would honestly like to know. |
Actually many Spelman students are choosing between these schools and Spelman. Spelman is getting the best of the best but they also accept more students with potential. There is more to intelligence than SAT scores. I work with some of the dumbest graduates and they are ivy grads. Smart but can't think themselves out of a paper bag. No common sense. |
I can’t imagine calling others stupid while denying data. |
If Asian American kids work hard why can’t they go to whatever school the meet the cut for |
The reporting is universal. Read Chronicle if Higher Education, NY Times, Wall Street hourly. TO was a failure. |
+1 ! |
Your question is wrong. The correct question is was that a mask off racist troll or a mask on racist troll? |
You actually could have it both ways if blacks actually went to school. Enrollment is low especially with black men. |
You are ignoring the fact that the only reason they are admitted at such high percentages is they clearly benefitted from unearned Asian privilege. |
