+1 The fact they didn't stick it out a few more years does suggest to me the issues were serious. Maybe he does have a new GF. |
That's why "nesting" has become relatively popular, for sure easier for the kids. |

Obviously, none of us know what really happened.
I am not leaping to the conclusion Urban doesn't want to see his kids. He gets 59 days--a minor quibble. That sounds like 2 months to me. He's a touring musician. Maybe they just mutually decided that since he doesn't know his touring schedule 4 years out--the younger daughter is 14--the kids would live in the family home with mom during the school and he will take summers off from touring and spend it with his daughters. The fact that the kids are living with mom during the school year doesn't mean he won't see them when he's in town, it just means they won't live with him. I suspect that, given their ages, the kids had some say in the custody schedule. If they are enrolled in a regular school, they probably said something along the lines of "I want to continue going to the same school and living in the same house. I don't want to enroll in some homeschooling program so I can be on the road with dad living out of a tour bus with no kids my own age around." He'll either take the summers off to be with them OR he'll take them with him on tour when that won't interfere with school. As for prepaying support....that may just be because they didn't want to make their finances public. If monthly child support were part of the divorce settlement we'd all know how much it is. This way we don't. It turns out that he signed the agreement August 29 and she signed September 6. I find it amazing that they kept their split under wraps that long. It probably was in the best interest of the kids to do so to give them time to adjust to the idea before it was the headline of The Tennessean. |
| Interesting that winning a custody agreement will be the only that could possibly keep NK at home. |
There’s 0 chance she’ll be in Nashville 300 days a year. |
This. They just want some stability for the teenage girls. I’m sure he’ll stay at the family house the many days she works out of town. His recording studio is at that house. |
He is not a big tour guy. He toured in 2022. No tour in 2023. He did ten shows in a Las Vegas Residency with 5 in Oct 2024 and 5 in Feb 2025. He started this tour in May and it ends at the end of October with 30 concerts over those 6 months. He has 4 concert dates in March- June 2026 listed. Most of his concerts are within a couple hours flight of home. He isn't living for months or years on tour buses. Living in the home with mom indicates she is at home but she works long projects and has lots of press to do for ones already filmed. I doubt she can mostly work from home either. Seems she would be away from Nashville more than Keith given his current schedule and her current projects. |
There’s only one minor child, and it’s a girl. Probably thinks at fourteen, a girl should be with a mother primarily. Just guessing |
Yes the spouse to the superstar has to have a certain personality and willingness to take the back seat in an abundance of ways and even then I imagine it is a difficult burden to carry over many years. We are all only human and we all have limits. Maybe he met his. |
| There was a Deuxmoi blind of one of them cheating. |
She’s gets plenty of action during her many sexy projects including her last soft porn where she said all the orgasms were exhausting. I doubt she needed more extra-marital action. |
| Well tonight I wanna cry. |
Sad a man can’t keep commitments. McConaughey‘S wife made family on set demand before agreeing to marry him. Being with someone doesn’t stop them from cheating. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. |
His wife is a do-nothing gold digging "model". Actors are largely bi/gay, so I doubt Matthew would be cheating with a woman.

The bongo drums incident always made me think he was gay |
