That's what the experience of rich and famous Hollywood women suggests. Please name one who ended up with an absolute gem of a husband. I can only think of Barbra Streisand and Goldie Hawn for women in their 70s. Younger than that, I'm coming up with nothing.

Not a big star but Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinz Jr. I guess, Kelly Ripa too. I’m not sure how because I cannot stand her.

But it's true, there aren't many. I'm not adding them to say it's typical; I think all these couples are exceptions. Most celebrity marriages don't last. And they usually don't last very long.

Y'all have no idea who is happily married. I know people in real life who are secretly separated and nobody has any idea because they pretend to be all smiles in public. How in the world would any of you know the happiness of celebrity couples?

Bon Jovi is a big time cheater who doesn't hide it. Many non-famous women stay married to their famous husbands solely for the lifestyle, even when they are very publicly known as cheaters. Who knows if these are happy and loving marriages, but it doesn't seem like it. Better to be married to a discreet cheater, or better yet, a faithful man.

Yep. I actually stopped watching the Jon Bon Jovi documentary recently cause he was just so freaking proud of this fact that he’s had so many women while he’s been married. It was just a turn off for me.

Dave Grohl - I was not surprised that he cheated on his wife, but having a baby outside of the marriage was too messy.

I think a lot of celebrities who have stayed together do have open marriages or have weathered affairs. Doesn’t mean they aren’t happy, but probably had their share of ups and downs that they’re not sharing in today show interviews and such.

I also think there are a lot of non-celebrities who are married long time, but who are just not happy. Stay together for finances or whatever. It is really a financial struggle to divorce for a lot of people and celebs don’t have that factor if they’re doing well financially.

There was also a longstanding rumor that they would swing with the Thor actor and his wife. Which makes sense tbh! For a while they were photographed together all the time, but that seems to have fizzled. Anyway, if you have no power in the relationship you're pretty much forced to tolerate whatever the other person wants, if you can stand it. The marriage certainly changed her life.
