It's not popularity. It's fighting for the Constitution itself. If people don't care about it, maybe this form of government was too much for them.

Democrats aren’t famous for loving the Constitution. In fact, they’ve long resented the bitter clingers who do.

Wow what an uneducated comment but do go on MAGA.

So interesting how left wingers think the word MAGA is an insult.

It is

Only to democrats, but you lost so nobody cares what you think.

Apparently you do....did I hit a nerve because you protest a lot for someone who "doesnt care"

The only nerve you hit is my funny bone. I’m literally laughing every day at the way democrats utilize MAGA like it’s some kind of insult. Thank you PP!

DP. Easier to say on an anonymous forum, harder to wear your MAGA hat to pick up your kids. 😉

You know you keep saying that and I don’t consider myself Republican, but this kind of thing it only makes me want to see what MAGA is about more. Thank you for that as I’m finding republicans are actually nicer than the democrats.

Go dear snowflake

Run to your kindred

Sometimes I think even Democrats don’t care about saving the democrats anymore.

Not you, whiney
You're all talk. It's a waste of time

I’m actually the epitome of the voter you need to hold on to. You don’t care. Democrats are a dying breed. I’ll just go back to the middle and watch the fighting since nobody on here actually wants to talk. Carry on.

No we don't babe

Only the rational Rs who could care less about trans bla bla
They just want to make money and Trump has spectacularly failed and is acting very irrational by even dry business standards.

And all the businesses who bent the knee to Trump only to be knifed in the back

Most voters were predominantly thinking Trump would be better for the economy.

We need them.

people like you? Take care of yourself

Thanks sweetheart, take care of yourself as well. I’m doing just fine as an independent.

The stages of grief include denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. These stages can help people heal after a loss.

Democrats are starting to progress from denial to anger. dcurbanmom is a great barometer. For the past two months, Dems have been “resisting” like it’s 2017, hoping Trump voters “regret what they’ve done” etc. Now the reality of the Democratic Party’s implosion is starting to set in, and Democrats are pissed! There’s a lot more anger, aggression, and swearing on here lately. Depression and acceptance probably won’t kick in until Dems lose in 2026 and 2028. But there has been a loss, there is something to grieve. Democrats are out of power now and their old power structurea are being dismantled.

I wore my #Resist swag in 2018. Now I just wear my hair in a bun. Ya’ll are late to the game. We don’t all have the luxury of going through the stages of grief amidst the chaos. We have to keep it moving.

Very few Dems in here have even been able to admit that any of our policies are unpopular with voters. We’re miles away from being able to regroup and improve our electoral prospects for the future.

Not sure where you get that from, but this seems to not be a party thing

If you support the Constitution, it's clearly being violated.

This. What makes me question those who say they are republican and want "small government" and they want the government to stay out of their lives "don't tread on me" You sure voted for a party who is all about going back to a king/dictator style country. you all seem to be rooting for people to tread all over you or did you vote thinking they would just "tread" all over the people you discriminate against. This is why people say FAFO-because the billionaires are coming for you MAGAs too-so congrats on your vote and you should feel ashamed.

NEWSFLASH: We are not ashamed! We love watching Trump right all the wrongs of Biden. We love watching you cry about it and call us MAGA. We love being MAGA!

Please carry on with the whining while I make some more popcorn.

I know many MAGA who are ashamed just because you are a disgusting human doesn't mean all are. People are starting to wake up Elon. The normal decent humans laugh at you every day-enjoy your popcorn and peanuts watching the circus you voted for. Your clown doesn't look well though-hope he can climb some stairs this week.

Sure Karen, go back to burning down cities and shooting up Teslas and indoctrinating children and insisting the world is ending. I used to be a Democrat, people like you are why I’m an independent now. Carry on so others see the crazy too.

Ok MAGA. trash you go smear your feces on the Capitol lol

I’m an independent. I voted a split ticket, but I’m finding myself relating more to MAGA lately more than democrats. They at least appreciate actual debate about issues, they never once called me trash, or told me to go smear feces. What happened to the party I once loved. It’s turned into a party of hatred and gotchas. Sad, really sad.

They turned into an LGBTQ+ obsessed party.

This is very true! And I’m LGBTQ+ and marched for rights and all the things. Democrats went off the deep end &!they lost me when their agenda started affecting the children. I don’t care what adults do but kids should be protected.

Show me where “Democrats “ did that?

Please go away w your stupidity. Thanks!

Open borders was a complete DISASTER for DEMOCRATS, yet they continue with wanting to protect CRIMINALS. Why?

Can't do that

He's the one doing the doling out

And with the way these weeks have gone, you think there will be an election?

We have to do that. No one wants to be ashamed of their choices. If you just make the next election about fighting to preserve America from the billionaires, we win. We have to move on, he’s an old man, this is about much more than him. It’s about the people who control him and who want to control us.

I don't want them to be ashamed

I just want to know if they are feeling better off

You can do that without mentioning who is in charge. You just ask about how things are - now - vs how they’d like them to be. And listen.

Sure, but Trump's tariffs have such a ring.

Anyway maybe it's best to do your thing with the people in your orbit. There may need to many different prongs to this pitchfork

Sure. I’d say um you might be in a bubble if you don’t know people who are Trump voters or Trump curious. They’re everywhere, that’s how he won. They don’t need to be told they made a mistake over and over again, they’ll just double down.

I know they are everywhere. I'm in a red area. Some aren't thrilled. Others confused.
They didn't vote to overthrow the Constitution. Trump went rogue and did this.

Hmmm, that’s promising. The Trump voters I know agave their heads deeply in the sand still, they think all is well.

Most are small business owners who deal with some imports from Canada. They are freaking out

I know one of these guys. He blamed “lazy Canadian” workers for why he couldn’t deliver. I mean, it goes deep.

When polled on policy without party attribution, voters overwhelmingly prefer Dem policies. The problem is polarized media and social media where ignorant, gullible people get brainwashed and radicalized.

The best thing to do is to register as a Republican and vote in those primaries to get more sane candidates. The Democratic Party is hopeless. It'll take years for it to be rescued from the damage that Biden and progressives did to the Democratic brand. The more effective thing to do is to tilt the GOP to a more centrist Romney/McCain kind of party.

Current Republican leadership would need to distance from MAGA for this to work. I don’t see it happening.

Biden was a Centrist. Name a single "Progressive" policy that he advocated or obtained from Congress.
