Yes, lots of pro-Israel rampages through college campuses, accompanied by anti-Palestinian rhetoric and threats. You'd think someone like that would seek refuge in a more welcoming environment, rather than trying to twist the environment to suit himself and his politics. I imagine his messaging would be welcome in Iran, and in Yemen, so it's not like he has nowhere to go, pregnant wife in tow. |
So what are the charges? And not ones pulled out of your bottom |
UCLA. The end. |
You can go on and one because you like this but it's still not legal in this country. People ate not going to like this even if you try to color it. |
The U.S. embraced slavery and many other systems that we now understand to be heinous artifacts of our history. Blind, unconditional support of Israel and enabling radical, extremist Zionists to speak their racist rhetoric without consequence will be added to that history, eventually. |
Lol. Most people are going to Don Draper this. As in, they aren't going to think about it at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqF_A6bsyEw |
Sorry Trump is doing a pretty good job of convincing the indifferent that it's not "business as usual." |
You want to look up green card and first amendment rights IMO to get an outline of this. Terroristic threats would be a criminal charge and I don't know anything about any specifics of his involvement in the protests. Protection is not as secure as for citizens, even naturalized citizens. This has an overview: https://www.freedomforum.org/non-citizens-protected-first-amendment/ The Reno decision (1996) is not encouraging, and it was a strong majority decision (only one dissent, from Souter) favoring the govt. I couldn't tell if the parties had green cards, but it also related to Palestine. |
LOL. You think Trump supporters GAF what happens to this guy? |
Very awkward for Team Trump! This needs to get fixed fast or we are on a short path to a society none of us wants to be living in. |
The real question is how did this guy get a green card in the first place. It sounds like all DHS needed to do was google him. |
Trump is claiming personal credit for this. |
He has a conditional green card through marriage. He probably got it approved before Oct 7. Thing is, he has to file to lift conditions to make it a long term green card and under these conditions he is out of luck. Even if he goes through immigration court I don’t see a permanent green card approved for him. He can go protest in Syria. |
FAFO. |
There was no warrant to pick him up in the first place. they moved him from NJ to Lousiana (ie 5th circuit court) without cause. |
