Add. Shameful withdrawal from Afghanistan. |
I think the “America hates women” explanation is dismissive and intellectually lazy.
Are there voters who will never vote for a woman? Yes. But they are a small minority. 47.9% of voters did vote for a woman (Harris or Stein). At most, 52% of voters “hate women.” But that’s if you believe each and every Trump vote was based on hating women. I bet Nikki Haley would’ve won with even more votes than Trump. If Dems chalk this up to misogyny and nothing else, they will learn nothing. They will put forth a male Kamala Harris in four years and lose again. |
Because they cheated |
Stop. The same mistake as Clinton is not having a penis. It’s sexism, that’s it. |
The Daily did a story about black voters a few days back. The stimulus checks were authorized by Biden but had Trump’s name on them. |
Exactly. Americans are done with Democrat dirty dealing. |
Kamala had no independent opinions about anything |
That’s my complaint, as well. Point blank, yes or no question, and she babbles “you see, I was born in a middle class family. When you come from a middle class family, you know what it’s like to be middle class….excuse me, I’m talking, I’m talking…middle class folks built this country and that’s what I came from a middle class family.” |
As in fake ballots to get Joe his magic 81 million. Lol. |
People didn’t like Kamala nor did they like Walz.
People didn’t want to continue Biden’s policies. People are struggling economically. People don’t like paying taxes so illegal immigrants are gifted food, shelter, and medical care. People don’t like men and boys pretending to be women and girls playing sports with girls and women. |
I saw this coming. I voted for Kamala, but she always came off as a lightweight, both in 2019 and again in 2024. I didn’t think she was as good VP pick either.
But at the end of the day, the personalities really don’t seem to matter to voters. Fear equals votes. Biden won in 2020 because Covid shook the economy to its core, and in 2024, I think the perception that Dems care more about illegal immigrants and trans people than the “average Joe” hurt them badly. Losing the rust belt was no shock. I think Biden was actually a good president, but what did he do to improve the lives of the working class in the rust belt? Not much. The CHIPS Act wasn’t exactly creating blue collar jobs. Disinformation on social media clearly is how elections are now won or lost. Dems need to figure out how to play that game or lose in perpetuity. I think the Dems need to do some serious soul searching on their priorities. Most Americans have shown that they don’t care about the plight of refugees, trans people, Palestinians, or women wanting abortions after a few weeks. I don’t agree with that, but it’s just a reality. Will the party continue to try to claim the moral high ground on these issues? Clearly that isn’t a winning electoral strategy. |
All her political life, Kamala has out performed. It finally caught up with her |
Just the annoying ones. And there are a lot of them on the left. |
Bc the majority of Americans are morons |
Posters who say it's because Harris didn't discuss specific policy plans: did Trump? |
