I don’t understand the changes from the book to the show and the writing and acting by everyone was awful. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Eve Hewson before but she drove me nuts. To be fair, I disliked her character from the book as well (Celeste, no idea why they changed her name to Amelia), but I couldn’t stand her in the show. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to like the series. After having watched White Lotus this show was like an old McDonald’s burger compared to a Charlie Palmer steak.
