Post-Roe, will there be more infants available to adopt?

I think more women will be careful about birth control, hence fewer babies. So they can't afford condoms?

Condoms break & birth control doesn’t always work. There is also rape, and spousal reproductive coercion.

There is also poor education on sexual & reproductive health across the entire US.

But you knew all that already.

At present, it is nearly impossible to get an IUD affordable if you’re on your parents insurance without them finding out. They may not approve of you accessing that.

It is nearly impossible to find a doctor who will perform a tubal ligation on you if you’re a young, single woman. Especially so if you are childless.

I could go on if you’d like?

You're just chomping at the bit to take advantage of under-educated, poor women. Why should anyone let you adopt their child?

Interesting point
I would not start waving my judgemental finger at women.
I do think that more men will be concerned about their girlfriends access to birth control, especially as more and more men will have to start paying child support for the babies that were conceived
So this is in a very real way a mans issue too, being married doesn’t mean that surprise pregnancy is not a disaster

Yea, no. Having gone through a really difficult pregnancy I never ever want to be pregnant again. It’s not a baby.

Better to ensure she doesn’t even have a chance?

Better to traumatize a woman over a clump of cells?

That’s not what the poster, who clearly acknowledged the presence of human life said; they said better dead than adopted, which is outrageous.

As for you, try studying up on your biology and maybe some bioethics. Things are what they are. One can debate their relative value, but it is irrational, unscientific, and self deluding to convince oneself that some creature begins as one thing and ends as another.

Until it can survive without a host body, it’s a parasite. That’s biology.

How exactly were you traumatized?

Pregnancy and birth can be traumatizing for many women, myself included. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone for whom it is unwanted
