Actually, there will be fewer women, because more will unnecessarily die in childbirth, like in the old days conservatives are enamored with.

And more women will opt just not to have any kids at all. I predict eventually the "red" anti abortion reds will have fewer people, especially women, than the abortion legal states. It will take a while but it will happen.

Look at infant and mother mortality in the deep south, if you don't believe me.

Low maternal mortality, High life expectancies, low obesity rates, high % of population w/health insurance, low homelessness, highly educated population, low crime, low rates of domestic violence and I could go on.

There will be more babies available - Black and hispanic babies, babies born to drug addicts and alcoholics, more babies with serious developmental problems that their mothers don't feel capable or financially stable enough to care for. But there will likely be the same amount of healthy, white babies - is that your question?

As the daughter of a woman who was forced to relinquish a baby for adoption during the Baby Scoop era, I agree…she’s basically advocating forced birth for human trafficking. An underclass of breeders, like the Hamdmaid’s Tale, with no concern for the health, lives, or trauma endured by the women forced to carry pregnancies they don’t choose.

Unfortunately there will also be in an increase in mortality for pregnant woman and their fetuses, as desperation increases.

Along with vastly increased rates of bankruptcy, eviction, and overwhelming debt for women. And just watch - gop controlled house will refuse to pass increased funding for WIC and other safeguards for women and their babies. Increased class divide and more marginalization of low SES women. Just what the GOP thrives on.
