Post-Roe, will there be more infants available to adopt?

I don't think there will be many additional adoptable infants. The mothers or grandmothers will probably keep them or take care of them or maybe adopt to relatives. Or get illegal abortions.

When the former infants are over the age of 3, some will probably end up in the state foster system and already traumatized. And then be available to foster families in red states.

It's more typically a 40 year old with three kids already, and she and her dh really can't afford another one, but she's not in a situation where she can give birth and just adopt a fourth child out. Unfortunately, has a higher risk of dying in childbirth and leaving three kids behind.

Most women are going to keep their babies if they are forced to give birth to them.
