She came out three times to see what was going on. You got it correct

Okay, so per the affidavit she heard a thump, opened her door, thought it was a roommate playing with the dog. Then hears Xana crying and the "Don't worry I'm here to help you", opens door again. Then it's quiet, opens door a third time and sees him walking by. For whatever reason he does not attack her. She is anxious but unsure what it was all about, so locked herself in her room and went to sleep. Wakes up 7-ish hours later, texts her roommates, then realizes something bad did happen and calls 911.

We know Xana was awake. He must have killed her boyfriend first (the thump?) and she was terrified but was in shock and cried rather than screamed. He must have incapacitated her quickly since it was then quiet. The others were murdered in their sleep, so no noise.

The one girl ordered take out at 4am. The murder happened 4 - 4:25am. She ate and fell asleep in that and he murdered 4 people?

Wondering if someone had food delivered, opened the door, and he came in while the food was being delivered. Maybe people were in and out of that house casually, and no one asked questions.

For those who might be interested, this article and pictures explain a lot about Ted Bundy and his family. Genetics, abuse, unwed mother, etc.

He went back the next morning before they were found. Maybe to kill her off?

He went back as most killers do to observe his handiwork. Can you imagine how shocked he was at 9 am to see no fanfare?

Or maybe he realized he left the knife sheaf behind? How could he not, when he disposed of the weapon? But maybe couldn't gain access or the other surviving roommate was awake and moving around.

WHOA. He really does. The resemblance is uncanny.

Their noses aren't remotely the same.

Hard to tell from that photo, and I don't care to nitpick with you, but many facial traits are similar. The long face, for one.

Xana ordered the food.

And was on Tik Tok just before the murders. She was the one heard crying. The BF was either killed first or was asleep.

No, she was awake. She ordered the door dash and was on tik tok on her phone. The boyfriend with her was possibly awake too - we don’t know. The two asleep were the two on the third floor.

Maybe she was the only roommate who he did not know?

I’m curious how he choose which ones lived and which ones didn’t.

I agree about a longer face and close set eyes.

Honestly, this is a freak occurrence. Random killings like this are exceedingly rare. The person most likely to harm your DD would be her significant other, or someone else she knows.

I don't want random men she doesn't know traipsing through the house at 4am and no one thinking this is weird at all, per so many people on this thread. No thanks. A dorm, or an apartment with 1-2 roomates max.

You think it requires a large group home to have roommates with random hook ups? Keep living in that bubble.

Yes, but mainly because her description was startlingly accurate and therefore damning.

I totally get random guys may have come and gone. But dressed in black with a MASK!

Someone wearing a surgical mask indoors in a liberal college town would NOT look out of place post-2020.

Does the affidavit say it was a surgical mask?
