If you're attacking him, sure, but if all you're doing is letting people know there's a primary and another candidate to consider, it's awfully arrogant to attack you for that. |
| Well, I just posted that there is a primary happening and Holly is a candidate from the community. Did not even mention Karl. |
Then it sounds really unhinged to attack you, but maybe it's not surprising given the sense of entitlement displayed by Karl and some of his cronies. |
| What else can we do to get out the vote? |
Get your friends to vote. Email them, call them, talk to them. Voting day is a busy Saturday of a long holiday weekend and a lot of people won’t prioritize it. Ask your friends to look at their calendar and make their voting plan. They’ll need to squeeze it between soccer, fall baseball, girls lax, Scouts, grocery shopping, etc. If they make their plan now, they’re more likely to vote on the 8th. On the 7th, follow up with each person you contacted and remind them to vote on the following day. |
| You can volunteer for Holly’s campaign! Help get out the vote that she is running for office. https://www.hollyseibold.com/volunteer.html |
| Frisch is useless scum. |
Unnecessary. Easy enough to point out what he has done and not done to deserve electoral rejection. No one cares about your name calling |
Apparently you do. He’s a blowhard without a college degree who has accomplished nothing in office, wasted taxpayer money, neglected the needs of kids, and somehow thinks he should be rewarded for his poor performance with additional responsibility. Hilarious. |
| I work in FCPS and am mega conflicted. I am so ready for him to be away from the SB and away from my school. |
I would leave Frisch on the School Board one more miserable year, kick him out of office then, and make sure he never gets close to another elected position in the county or state again. He can’t be trusted in a role with even greater policy-making responsibilities. |

When did Holly Seibold teach? I can't find anything about the exact number of years.
Even if it was 1 yr, she's still more educated and experienced than Karl. But, does anyone know how long she taught 4th grade? |

Let's stroll down memory lane with Karl: July 18, 2020...
"Fairfax recently published a nine-page “Student Health and Safety Guidance Document” that mandates meals in the classroom, daily temperature checks and face coverings for anyone older than 2. The document also forbids balls and ropes on the playground, and urges school staff to teach kids “games or recess activities that minimize close physical contact.” But Fairfax school board member Karl Frisch doubts any of those preparations will be sufficient. He was struggling to make up his mind about the best strategy for fall until last week, when someone asked him what his partner, a Fairfax teacher, plans to do. Now, Frisch is pushing for an all-virtual start. “It didn’t sink in, until then, that I was in a position to put him in danger,” Frisch said in an interview, starting to cry. “I would not be able to live with myself if something happened to him, or anybody else.” He added: “I hope to God I’m wrong. But when schools reopen, people are going to die.”" https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/dc-maryland-virginia-schools-fall-virus/2020/07/18/dc3fcd12-c836-11ea-8ffe-372be8d82298_story.html |
Blech. |
Decision-making based on personal benefits + emotion. Not the best person to be making decisions on the state-level. |
