Not looking good for Josh. A Senate staffer who plead GUILTY on similar child porn charges in August 2021 - was just sentenced to 12 years in prison.

A federal judge sentenced Ruben Verastigui, 29, of Washington, D.C., on Thursday to 151 months in prison on a federal charge of receipt of child pornography, the Department of Justice announced.

Only 20 years?

Anything more than a decade is a message. Subway guy got 15 years, 8 months and he actually had sex with a minor (his case was about this, Duggar's rape of his siblings is sealed as a youth conviction).

Josh’s mom and wife wrote letters to the judge asking for a lenient sentence. They are both so delusional and complicit in his crimes. Check out Michelle’s signature on the letter- she dotted her i with a heart!! What is she? 12?

Here is an excerpt:

In her letter to the judge, Michelle, 55, says her son is 'compassionate toward others,' 'a positive and upbeat person,' and 'an organized and diligent individual' — and should be 'reunited with his wife and family in a timely manner.'

Meanwhile, Anna, 33, describes herself as still 'happily married' to Josh, writing that the convicted sex offender is 'the kindest person I know' and 'loving, supportive, and caring father' to his seven children.

Yeah, he’s organized and diligent about getting his disgusting child porn collection. The mom and wife are nuts.

Woohoo!

Arkansans are smarter than I thought. Gotta give them some credit.

It’s still weird to me that even 456 people looked at their whole cult lifestyle, the molestation charges against Josh that Jim Bob basically did nothing about, everything and decided that he was worth their vote.

But they saw him on the teevee! And reality TV said he loves Jebus!

The 456 were probably his family and church members.

Joe Exotic got more votes than Jim Bob did when he ran.

Yes but when is Jim Bob's hair going to blow in the wind? The answer is never because Michelle leaked that he uses many cans of hairspray.....

Can they be any worse? It's too bad the SOB can't be handed a life sentence.

That is the worst letter from a mother I can think of. The best she can do it talk about how he’s organized and finds creative ways to support his family? Dear lord.

Conveniently leaving out he has to find creative ways to support them because he lost his job by being on Ashley Madison, sleeping with prostitutes, and molesting his sisters.

They are indeed, and this is not meant as a defense of them, but: it’s not like they have a choice, you know? That’s the kind of fealty that the cult requires of women toward the men in their life (and what the GOP wants for women in the wider culture). Michelle seems like a true believer but even for her she has to do this performative dance. And Anna especially is dependent on her in laws for monetary support.

Some people can break out of cults and some can’t. I’m not going to read the letters cause I don’t care all that much but from the excerpts here - Michelle is damning her son with faint praise. They’re doing the (stupid) dance required by their (stupid) cult.

Anna's FATHER wrote a letter on Josh's behalf. How depraved can you be? No wonder Anna is such a mess. She literally had no chance.

Cult or not, your son-in-law has a history of molesting his sisters, he cheats on your daughter, he admits an addiction to porn (which is evil, in your circle), is such a terrible provider that they have to live under the thumb of HIS father, and then is convicted of seeking out, downloading, and possessing mountains of especially depraved child sexual abuse material, and your response is to... write a character witness statement on his behalf and claim he is a loving father and husband? WTF.
