I believe this--I bet he offed himself. I don't think he looks like a psychopath or one who would be unaffected by his actions. He seems like a normal guy who snapped and did something terrible in a fit of rage. I've watched that video about 15 times and he looks at her kindly and with affection throughout it.
Yes, he should pay with his life (life in prison or the death penalty). No, I'm not defending his actions. Yes, I think he should pay for his crime. No I'm not victim blaming.

“Normal guys” don’t snap in “a fit of rage” and kill people. Do not normalize this.

He didn't and doesn't at all act like a "normal" guy. It's scary people are trying to "normalize" this white guy--and I am a white woman. I have known an unfortunate number of these types of guys and they are anything but "normal."

But is he gonna be able to keep himself from yelling at waitresses in Mexico??

There are mass open graves in Mexico. And an even worse record of violence against women. He doesn’t need to.

Why would they bring his car back home and essentially leave him in the reserve without transportation? Why weren't they on every news station pleading for their son's safe return? Because they knew in advance that he had murdered her and helped him get away, that's why. Why can't the police bring charges against these people for obstructing justice? don't they have bank records? flight records? phone records? something?!? Why are we searching in swamps instead of interrogating the very people who know his whereabouts? We're wasting a ton of resources on searching for this guy-the parents know.

This is all happening (probably with the exception of bringing charges because so far there’s no way to tell about that and the parents have probably been interviewed with a lawyer now). You won’t know about it until an arrest affidavit is released, for a lot of reasons.

The FBI already knows if he left the United States by air or if the parents flew sometime in the questionable timeline. They’re not going to release that but I would say all indicators look like no.

The amount of digital evidence in this case is likely staggering. I don’t know if he has any kind of phone on him now (but if I had to guess I would guess no). But they will have a huge amount of evidence to sift through from when he did, even if they can’t obtain the device (I believe they said they did but I’m not 100% positive). You need a warrant for most back end data and then it has to be analyzed by someone certified. This process can take awhile in terms of charging but will be guiding the investigation/search throughout as they receive it.

As far as dive teams etc they can be looking for evidence too not just a POI. It’s likely they have a reason to believe something of evidentiary value was tossed into that water. Could have happened recently or days ago. That reason might be finding something else nearby that is suspicious or could be connected to BL, or the terrain appeared disturbed in some way (based on drone footage or grid searches).

I personally doubt even his parents know his exact location at this point. I’m sure they have an idea of what could be possible.

Not necessarily. I know plenty of people in Florida with private small planes that don't even file flight plans. The narcos sure don't.

This is an individual who committed a kind of crime that is devastating but follows a relatively known pattern. It has received a huge amount of attention for a few reasons, but I do not personally think that one of them is because he’s been that exceptional at covering his tracks in any regard. It is common for investigations to seemingly lag while evidence is interpreted or for it to take a month to track and arrest a POI. They aren’t releasing all the information they have. Generally the investigation starts from the last confirmed location and has to work backwards from there. It appears confirmed that in early Sept BL was in a North Port, FL neighborhood. With the prevalence of Ring type cameras, license plate readers, and surveillance footage nowadays, they can almost certainly track some vehicle and foot movement in the neighborhood, for instance. I would be pretty surprised if they are just searching a wildlife preserve “for show.” That said, they could be searching for items rather than BL himself.

Did anyone ask why he was walking with a backpack in a swamp at 6AM?

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has positively identified the individual whose image was captured on a deer trail camera near Baker and shared on social media, sparking nationwide speculation that it was missing North Port Florida resident Brian Laundrie.

The OCSO has confirmed the man is an Okaloosa County resident who acknowledged he was the one walking on the deer trail carrying his backpack. Several OCSO deputies familiar with the individual noticed the resemblance to the photo of the person spotted on the deer trail, as well as the presence of a neck tattoo.

The private citizen was located and a positive identification has been made.

During its search and investigation, the OCSO found no indications that Brian Laundrie is, or was, in Okaloosa County.

Why should they interrogate a random person?

Really??
Wow.
So he likely has killed himself I believe.

Because if he is alive - his life will certainly be over for good anyway.

Per John Walsh, there is no definitive proof he was ever at the house. The police were going off statements from his family. IMO Chances are he’s in a non-extradition country by now. His parents probably brought the van back and had him escape before anyone even knew what was going on.

There is that video of the neighbor, saying he saw Brian’s and his mom going for a bike ride. And Brian mowing the lawn.

OMG. The first picture wasn’t reality. It was curated spin for social media.

And I just saw the neighbors saying the camper was new. They did some work on it and hooked it to the truck. Brian and his parents went camping for 3 days while Gabby was missing. If that happened what were they really doing, stashing supplies, etc.??

In front of the police …. If he wanted to kill himself, he wouldn’t have ran. Could have easily done it either before returning to Florida or while at home. Why go through all this trouble to kill himself?

I think the car at the nature preserve is a decoy. No way he is there. If he went there, it was to off himself, and he could have done that comfortably in his car. Except he might have tossed evidence in the water there. But stay, no.

I think he is in Mexico. If he killed himself, he would've been found already. Same if he was in the U.S. He can't fit 8 days of food and water in that tiny bag.

I don’t think the neighbor in the interview was taking about the van. The van is not a camper, and would not be easily attached to the back of a truck. I did see what looked like a fifth wheel camper on the side of the house, but I don’t know if that is their camper or the neighbor’s camper.

I think he's hiding with the haitians on the border.
