Not to extend the goalie talk, but the BI goalie was outstanding. Not sure that was SJC’s best game either.

So are the NCS goalie and SR goalie the only freshman goalies who are varsity starters? It’s hella ironic if they are

What does BI beating SJC change for the wcac standings?

Say what?

Is the St. John's HC really coaching with a baby strapped to her chest? Is she a single mom?

Most asinine post I've seen yet. You hit the trifecta in two sentences: misogynist, classist, and stupid. She's a pretty bad ass woman to maintain her coaching duties with a newborn, and no, the baby does not come to games, with a few exceptions. Amazing role model to young women who will need to balance motherhood and a career someday.

By the way, her husband is a real warrior, not a keyboard one. He chose a career protecting the country so you have the freedom to run your mouth on DCUM. Probably should think before you type next time.

For that reason, it would be fun to see a match up unless this bullish goalie takes the SR spot.

The only thing about this take is that mnddc is known for having minimal specialized goalie coaching, with the exception of one of the former 29’ coaches and another one. Plus the rep of the SR goalie coach is also unsteady. She’s a great goalie but has no opportunity to improve if she doesn’t get specialized coaching, which we all know the dad won’t get.

When does a club do specialized training for any position. That’s what goaliesmith is for

3-way tie for second. BI beat SJC, SJC beat Ryken, Ryken beat BI. All lost to GC.

Is it possible that SJC might not be too upset about a loss against BI because it positions then better for playoffs? I am just making crap up here because the loss does not make sense to me.

A doubt anyone is purposely trying to lose for seedlings. At some point they will have to run into GC and it will all end.

Of course there is an incentive to do this. At this point for everyone other than GC it’s all about making it to the final and hoping for a miracle there.

Standings updated.
1. GC
2. PVI

So it's a 3-way tie for 3rd. That's really all that matters wise because 4th and 5th have to play each other anyway and then GC in the semi. Although home field will be interesting. 3rd will get O'Connell and the knowledge of avoiding GC until the championship.

Can some breakdown the play style and biographies of all the playoff bound goalies in the WCAC?

Are you being serious? Have you never seen coaching for the draw specialists. Or focused coaching on either defense or offense? Each are specialized to the strengths of their own team, that’s not possible in goaliesmith

Pretty sure most if not all of the starting goalies in ISL use private goalie coaching. Many of them the same coach as my daughter uses. Don't know the particular dad here, but agree about the SR goalie coach.
