JUST IN: TX: An asylum seeker who crossed into the U.S. 4 months ago, is the suspect in the murder of a Houston man in his 40s—His body found in a home in the Eagle Pass area yesterday, according to Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber.

64-year-old Roberto Emilio Vasquez-Santamaria is in custody in connection to the death—Sources confirm Vasquez-Santamaria from Peru, crossed into the U.S. in the Eagle Pass area back in May (5/7/23) and was released “due to a lack of space” with a notice to appear *virtually in June of 2025.

Sources say his address listed is in Florida, but the crime was committed in the same county he crossed into illegally.

The sheriff says during questioning, Vasquez-Santamaria admitted to arguing with the victim but denied killing anyone. The body was found in a home “known to authorities” as a possible “stash house.”

Vasquez-Santamaria is currently in the sheriff’s custody with an ICE detainer—I am told if he bonds out, ICE will go pick him up.

The Sheriff tells me they are worried about what’s coming through, “Not everyone is coming through looking for a better life.”

Also throwing more money at the problem like more, judges, agents, surveillance won’t fix the issue if another 2million people cross the border next year. How many 100’s of billions of dollars do yo you want to spend on this? How many more crowded schools do you need that can’t get the kids in? How many more hotels in NY will be filled with migrants? Why is there suddenly billions of dollars available for this when we did not have billions of dollars to help our homeless, veterans, minority communities???????

And...the Dems have offered an immigration reform bill that covers a lot of issues, but guess who votes against it? The GOP. Why? Because they want to keep people like you angry, rather than, you know, dealing with the problem.

Also, you say "uh, no" but the facts matter, the current Administration has recovered more drugs, indicted more people, deported more illegal people, etc than the Trump Administration did. Maybe research it a little before commenting next time.

There are no consequences. Even if these people show up for their initial court date, it doesn’t matter. If the proceedings eventually determine they should be deported, they just ignore the order. Then the problem compounds and more come, and there are more people living in the shadows, and then more come, and on and on it goes.

LOL, no it is the GOP governors who are amending the child labor laws in the US that enable companies to do this. That isn't a Biden thing. That is a Gov Sanders of Ark, Gov DeSantis of FL, Gov Youngkin of VA etc who are responsible. And also, the GOP owned companies that hire these children.

- more migrant deaths
