| Karmas gonna hit this club very hard. |
As duly noted some months back, Jim will end up selling before fall 2027. His side hustle is flipping businesses, this ain’t no different for him. Frankly, I’m not sure what benefits you can reap now that you added a failing and falling clusterpheck like Loudoun Utd which is on track to be relegated to tier 3 of us soccer next season. |

Nobody will pay what he paid for the club and facility. It’s why st. James didn’t want it. |

Hi,
I am new to the travel soccer scene and would like some guidance from existing revolution families on a few questions I had before registering my kid for one of the travel teams - 1) how the training/coaching for 2014 boys (U13) BLACK team is compared to ODFC and Sterling soccer teams? Are parents generally satisifed with the standard and quality of coaching at VA Revolution? 2) Are there any hidden dues besides the fees that came out in the offer? I understand jerseys/uniform costs are separate, and travel/hotel costs can add up, but want to understand if there are any other separate club or team dues 3) The offer says that we need to sign up in 48hrs. Do they extend it by 4 more days (I want to get through one more tryout before making the decision)? I have reached out asking them these questions, and waiting to hear back. Intersted in learning about other people's experiences. Thanks! |
| It's a good thing you have a DS as there is no communication on girls side. |
| I recommend staying away from Revolution for now. Management is in training to become management. They have enough directors to create a soccer team of directors. Coaches are constantly leaving so they are always having to back-fill for them. |
1) not sure you can compare ODFC with VRSC. ODFC has like 5 teams. Sterling soccer not sure on 2) The offer letter should have covered everything for dues. 3) Most clubs will give you extra time. Don’t listen to all the posts here. Overall VRSC is very well liked by parents. Communication is great. Fields are great. Coaches are good. Coaches leaving is normal at all clubs. |
Buyer beware with this club. Careful who you listen to as management patrols this site daily. |
Yes, a lot of management trolls and commenters here. Are some people happy with this club, yes. Do they do a good job of training and development of players?, No. Most of the clubs in Loudoun are like this. They also have zero loyalty to their players unless in their mind you are the next college recruit. |
1.you’re comparing apples and oranges. VRSC is more corporate. as to teams, that will depend a lot on coach. We liked PR. he gave my child the support without being the yellt, overbearing type. but. expect the same quiet composure game day 2. fees. we haven’t paid anything extra- all fees upfront, as laid out in offer letter. prob 4 tournaments, and expect rev cup to be 1. so- really 3 3. 48 hours. email the phase manager. if you don’t get a response, go to TD. communication sucks, so you will have to go over and above. |
| Is your Sterling offer to play on their MLS AD team? |
I would ask for this post to be deleted ASAP. They will know you post on here if you just emailed them and will label you a problem parent. |
I wouldn't pay a penny to ODFC as it's a rec league made up of Coaches that thought they dominated the rec level so they bolt on their team to ODFC. Rev is going to be better, but I wouldn't go there either. I'd look to see if Loudoun has any spots. s |
| Middling competitive club with nice facilities, convenient if in central or west Loudoun, average coaches and no MLS Next HG option. If this fits your criteria you will be fine. |
