Couple things...

1. Calling players rejects is a trashy thing to say. What should I call your kid? Megan Rapinoe or Rita Leeds? MOST parents with kids that aren't starting and even some starters understand what level their child is at. Every single team across every level and age group carries an overzealous parent who thinks their kid is better than what they are. More than likely it's more than just one parent.

2. Can't speak on all ages but the players I know that moved from ECNL to VRSC are former starters. Others came from an Union ECNL club that blew up last year that then took on almost all the former NVA GA players. That ECNL team fell in a big way this year finishing 3rd to last. Now some of those players are returning to NVA next year. SOMEONE LIKE YOU WOULD CALL THESE PLAYERS NAMES AND BE NASTY. Someone like me would be understanding that maybe they like the NVA coaching better despite the league. Some of these players also are not committed. There is another ECNL to GA player on the 08s that was former FCV and VDA. That player graduated early and is already getting minutes in her D1 Spring league. The rest of the FCV 08 rejects all went to ECNL teams with only a few to VRSC.

3. If you want to VDA as your reject example, then fine. That would make 99% of all female soccer players rejects. It also tells everyone just the kind of person you are. At the same time, if BP and CC never left FCV, VDA would not have the teams they do. Oh, don't forget about the NVA imports. Playoffs, yes. National contenders, not even close. Just a waste of money to travel to the west coast like the rest of us.

4. More trolling and taking scores out of context. Does anybody know the 08 and 09 teams were without CC? Does anybody know how many starters were missing from teams? Playing with only 11 players against a Top 25 team without many starters? How does any team do when missing it's entire starting defensive line? How are the other teams ranked vs. the VRSC team?

5. Speaking of CC, the two oldest age groups were missing him this weekend as he went on vacation. KT and GD were awful. No discipline, no constructive criticism, no direction, just good job Suzy and thanks for showing up this weekend. As a whole, parents are extremely disappointed with KT thus far. Kiddie run practices and no worries about games. Knew nothing about this person until they were hired and saw the TSJ results. Now I understand why. Red flags are starting to really be raised...

I'm not a VRSC advocate. I do think VRSC is now heading in the complete wrong direction. I didn't think it was possible to find coaches worse than the previous ones, but they managed somehow, to do so. I don't know who is really running this Club anymore. I think younger ages do need to to start looking elsewhere in the area. Just make sure to walk, not run, making sure the grass really is green first. Navigating youth soccer sucks.

Still, I won't stand for anyone coming on here and calling somebody's kids rejects. Shouldn't be tolerated no matter the Club.

You have to ask the question as to how a vacation is planned on the same weekend of a major GA National Competition. There are only 4-5 of these events each year.

Just like the players on the teams, the coach has no accountability. His communication is intentionally terrible and he avoids responsibility for any decisions he makes. The cc apologist has it wrong...he's more responsible than ever...even for the performance of the new coaches

He also hired MN as the college guide.

The same standard should be applied to everyone. If you don't perform, you get replaced. Coach included.

All of this falls under Karl. When they realize this was a bad hire, they will start to have change. Until then, expect further club decline.

We can’t stand the CC apologists. He took the entire FCV club with him and managed to f@$& things up. How this man still has a job is beyond comprehension.

CC left behind shit show which is why FCV St James less than a year after it crumbles. The proof is in the pudding. He worked for the Washington Spirits didn’t last 6 months. He came to Revolution a year late it’s falling apart.

You are so misinformed. He sold to St James, was required to stay on for a time for transition. That time was up. He didn't get fired or asked to leave. He sold the club.

Im not the op but there were many players left without a coach for six months. Bp stuck around to finish out the responsibilities left vacant despite having a new gig lined up.

If it wasn't a firing, why was there such abrupt disruption that so badly impacted many players.?

Yes, but not just that, more the changes, the chaos…4 coaches talking yeling on the sidelines. Players leaving mid season. Hot mess…changing formation every week…Musical wheelchair of coaches at any time..for practice..,games.,

We stopped asking them how they did. We knew the answer already.. we have several parents on the team.

They were cursing it …racking up…Ws…. Teams ranked in the state, regional, nationally, beating Arlington, Loudoun, Bethesda, wining NCSL.
Winning EDP, WAGSL twice, did decent at Jeff Cup, along with others tournament …..and State Cup under with ED and MJ. I don’t like ED but you gotta give him credit where it’s due


There NO way they have played 12 teams of SYC and NVA calliber ..since then. Not possible. Matter fact they did very poorly like last month at Jeff Cup.

they were winning because top teams didnt play them. They did not beat top loudoun 2013s. They beat the B Bethesda team. And if they beat SYC it was likely there two top players were not there

I hope you feel better about yourself calling kids rejects. Maybe they are borderline players and if had the favoritism that "non rejects" have they would get the coaching needed to improve.

Some kids are studs that's a given, but players 7-15 could be in any order based on the attention they get from their coach and the playing time opportunity given to improve. If you give player 14 a short leash and always pull them at the first mistake and player number 7 gets to make multiple mistakes in the eyes of they have to learn...player 14 will never improve.

Give player 14 the time on the field to improve and coach them up I bet the difference between 7 and 14 will shrink to 7-9 in 1 year.

put it this way.. 11 arlington, VDA, NVA, FVU, SYC starters show up. VRSC is taking most of them. Vice 11 VRSC shows up to those clubs maybe 1-2 make it. Im sorry you are wasting your money for a badge.

Seems like the majority are but not all of them are “2nd tier” as you say. Proof was already clearly pointed out. Realistic parents won’t be offended by child being labeled as a 2nd tier. Calling a kid a reject is offensive to any level.

If you think your kid is that much better than other kids going to D1 schools, you probably have a serious ego and need to look at yourself in the mirror before taking so much pride in your child that you look like an eh hole to everyone else.

1. Calling players rejects is a trashy thing to say. What should I call your kid? Megan Rapinoe or Rita Leeds? MOST parents with kids that aren't starting and even some starters understand what level their child is at. Every single team across every level and age group carries an overzealous parent who thinks their kid is better than what they are. More than likely it's more than just one parent.

2. Can't speak on all ages but the players I know that moved from ECNL to VRSC are former starters. Others came from an Union ECNL club that blew up last year that then took on almost all the former NVA GA players. That ECNL team fell in a big way this year finishing 3rd to last. Now some of those players are returning to NVA next year. SOMEONE LIKE YOU WOULD CALL THESE PLAYERS NAMES AND BE NASTY. Someone like me would be understanding that maybe they like the NVA coaching better despite the league. Some of these players also are not committed. There is another ECNL to GA player on the 08s that was former FCV and VDA. That player graduated early and is already getting minutes in her D1 Spring league. The rest of the FCV 08 rejects all went to ECNL teams with only a few to VRSC.

3. If you want to VDA as your reject example, then fine. That would make 99% of all female soccer players rejects. It also tells everyone just the kind of person you are. At the same time, if BP and CC never left FCV, VDA would not have the teams they do. Oh, don't forget about the NVA imports. Playoffs, yes. National contenders, not even close. Just a waste of money to travel to the west coast like the rest of us.

4. More trolling and taking scores out of context. Does anybody know the 08 and 09 teams were without CC? Does anybody know how many starters were missing from teams? Playing with only 11 players against a Top 25 team without many starters? How does any team do when missing it's entire starting defensive line? How are the other teams ranked vs. the VRSC team?

5. Speaking of CC, the two oldest age groups were missing him this weekend as he went on vacation. KT and GD were awful. No discipline, no constructive criticism, no direction, just good job Suzy and thanks for showing up this weekend. As a whole, parents are extremely disappointed with KT thus far. Kiddie run practices and no worries about games. Knew nothing about this person until they were hired and saw the TSJ results. Now I understand why. Red flags are starting to really be raised...

I'm not a VRSC advocate. I do think VRSC is now heading in the complete wrong direction. I didn't think it was possible to find coaches worse than the previous ones, but they managed somehow, to do so. I don't know who is really running this Club anymore. I think younger ages do need to to start looking elsewhere in the area. Just make sure to walk, not run, making sure the grass really is green first. Navigating youth soccer sucks.

Still, I won't stand for anyone coming on here and calling somebody's kids rejects. Shouldn't be tolerated no matter the Club.

long rant proves the point. Sorry they are 2nd tier players under a crappy GA badge. (Mid Atlantic South is complete crap) But more importantly it’s the VRSC parents who are generally the issue.

Seems like the majority are but not all of them are “2nd tier” as you say. Proof was already clearly pointed out. Realistic parents won’t be offended by child being labeled as a 2nd tier. Calling a kid a reject is offensive to any level.

If you think your kid is that much better than other kids going to D1 schools, you probably have a serious ego and need to look at yourself in the mirror before taking so much pride in your child that you look like an eh hole to everyone else.

by default they didnt make another team. They are rejects. True is true.

CC left behind shit show which is why FCV St James less than a year after it crumbles. The proof is in the pudding. He worked for the Washington Spirits didn’t last 6 months. He came to Revolution a year late it’s falling apart.

You are so misinformed. He sold to St James, was required to stay on for a time for transition. That time was up. He didn't get fired or asked to leave. He sold the club.

Im not the op but there were many players left without a coach for six months. Bp stuck around to finish out the responsibilities left vacant despite having a new gig lined up.

If it wasn't a firing, why was there such abrupt disruption that so badly impacted many players.?

and its still a club of GA and ECNL rejects from top clubs. Only difference is now they have a badge to hide under. Be its still the rejects going there.
