ECNL moving to school year not calendar

Because the three largest governing bodies announced they are switching to SY… that’s why people said the age groups are changing.

ECNL is governed by us club that’s why they will change…

GA/MLSN have not said which is why people are speculating.

It’s just difficult to have your top teams be BY and your other teams be SY not because it’s tough to keep track of it but because club directors are lazy.

MLS academy and p2p is the same tier. Top of Ecnl beats academy teams. It’ll be more common with them playing 5 months up

The plan to stay by after Rae kicks in with the ulittles can’t be to just bio and them all.

Mlsn staying by gives Ecnl a shot at the crown.

FWIW, the scuttlebutt around the GA circles I'm in (nothing official), is it'll SY. This IS different from a few months ago -- when it was a big question mark and more of wait-and-see.

MLSN 2/GA and down are just money makers (hopefully) for them so they will SY more than likely. If some players in MLSN2 can play MLSN then they will fit them into their BY teams.
