Slow down there - SSSAS came out flat in the first 1/2 and put themselves in a hole.

SR’s Goalie made some crucial saves to slow the momentum during the 2nd half.

If SSSAS was getting stronger and SR was holding on to a win as the game went on wouldn’t that point to SSSAS being more athletic.

Great win by SR they won the game due to a dominant 1st half and excellent goaltending.

To clarify I’m not making the argument that SSSAS is more athletic, I just think that’s lazy analysis.

A really good team beat another good team - congrats SR

Wow.Did GC fall asleep during the game ?

Stop being a dick MR!

More like changed goalies.

Staring soon gc goalie gave up 4 goals on 5 shots in first half they switched at half the one senior goalie played the whole 2nd and gave up 6 goals on 6 shots. Goalie play is not the strong suite and hasn’t been in the last several years they have just had an amazing d in-front of them.

Everyone knows Mike is not giving anyone a easy pass, BI earned their respect last night. GG for both teams. Looking forward to seeing SJC on Monday!

Wow. A balanced, gracious post from a GC supporter. Notable.

Those couple seniors have been like that all season. If they continue their selfish playing on Monday, SJC will take advantage and capitalize on those turnovers. Much like they did a week ago.

What colleges did these "couple of seniors"- commit to?

GC went from chest pounding at the start of the year to realizing they could lose this thing.

GC and Saints dads realizing that pre-season and mid-season polls don't mean a whole lot at end of year crunch time when games really matter

If GC had to play a team like SR they might they they could lose. They don’t think they will lose.

I do believe it’s just about time to put that wine bottle down SR mom…

Great Wash Post story on SR’s back-to-back-to-back run. Senior leadership that knows how to win the big game and a talented cast of younger players highlighted. Well done Gators!

her older brothers are starters at Landon and are both playing D1 next Fall. (clearly athletic genes in the Cassidy family)

She is a beast and was the difference maker in both the Potomac and Saints game.

Saints are going to win the VA state tournament so I think they’ll be ok.
