I wasn’t there, don’t know anyone involved with voting, nor heard any rumor about how it am went down. However, I’m going to guess that beating every team in her district has something to do with it. I assume they took did not use “how much do the parents like the coach” as one of their voting criteria. |

This is how it almost always goes down. If you go undefeated in district play you are nearly a lock for district coach of the year, unless someone turned around a terrible team and got them to runner-up. |

Thats too bad about the Langley Coach. She has no respect from the payers or parents and cannot coach to save her life, and not to mention, no one wants to coach with her. A coach like her just is there in presence, but credit the players for actually getting the job done. Just my opinion and from what i here, very close source on the inside, its the same as last year, just horrible.
and just because you go undefeated in district play, doesn't mean you can actually coach. Just like someone else pointed out earlier, just because you play for a high D1 program, doesn't mean you can actually coach. Again, just one persons opinion, but anyone associated with Langley will agree from last year and this year. |

I don't think so. Pretty sure the two teams in Regional finals go to states. But probably won't last long in States. |
