The Peter romance will be short lived too. He'll become a good friend and maybe better suited for Sheema.

Harry will face a health crisis and will turn Charlotte's head around to appreciate him more.

Spot on. Good catch with Seema.

The dynamic with Seema at the table was so awkward. Charlotte didn’t think that Seema might want to meet one of the 3 dads? It was like she wasn’t even there. The writers are doing a terrible job developing the new friend dynamic. And Seema has so much potential!

Poor Steve. He’s willing to work on it, Miranda just decided to blow him off because she’s obsessed with Che now. What a jerk. And, yes, obviously Che is not relationship material, just a catalyst to whatever Miranda’s “next” is.

I don’t like the kitchen hook up moment from the standpoint of it being while Miranda was “on duty” for her healing friend, but I can see them setting up a scene like that on past scenes with a binary couple and it causing less of a splash too. If they had been having an affair or met up later it would play differently. But I also don’t think Che is into Miranda, they see her need and are playing/being generous. I get that.

Yeah this is my take on that character too.

Everyone dislikes Che because the writers have no idea who to flesh her out a full human, they are throwing every cliche at her to make audiences see how woke they are-she is butch!, sex positivie!, smokes week!, has a pdocast!.
I am assuming its a writers room full of middle aged folks thinking "yeah, this is how the kids think and talk now"
Its so cringe inducing

The Charlotte storyline was silly but made me laugh.

Carrie's also a little silly but I like the Jon Tenney casting. Speaking for myself, he seems more her type than Big at least as far as the ability to converse in a relatively meaningful way.

She claimed to Carrie that they did try therapy and that she "really tried." My impression is that he was interested in trying and she wasn't.

Jon Tenny is very appealing--funny, warm, kind. VERY different than Big.

I figured out why Che does not bother me (but maybe should), they remind me of past hookups. The ones that were addictive in bed but horrible in your life. I think the actor is super charismatic, not used as well as they could be in the show - bad lines - but HOT.

Yes, Peter is super sweet. Too sweet for Carrie, and much too sweet for Seema, I think, but we'll see. Looks like Steve will get the talk next week. Maybe he'll be better with it than we think?

This. Doesn't the actor wince when they have to read those terrible lines?

I guess a paycheck is a paycheck.

Maybe he'll be relieved, for all we know. That would certainly let Miranda off the hook. I hope it doesn't end up being that simple.

and why would charlotte rope her friends into attending a school action, their friendships now seem weird and too codependent. the guy playing steve never should have agreed to be on the show, they are basically making him the deaf, doddrering senior citizen of the show.
Watching charlotte try to talk with those super inflated lips is never wracking.

Yes, why is Steve yelling all the time? Just .. yelling. He used to save sucha sweet and earnest manner. Now he's bent over shouting about farmer's markets

Sadly the actor Dave Eisenberg did suffer hearing loss and does wear hearing aids.

Talk about a half hearted attempt to revive a chronic issue....I mean wasn't it really a set up for miranda to confirm to herself it would never work with Steve? We haven't had sex in years but I'm going to approach you ONCE in the kitchen and if in ten seconds you can't get me completely wet....it's dead. Done. No matter our years together, whether we can talk about it, our realizing it will take time...no, I'm done. And suddenly they have no chemistry when in the second movie after their reconciliation we see them having intense, intimate sex together at the end if the film. If you had it once, it can typically be revived. That's a general truism. It might be different due to age, illness, etc. But they had a foundation. It seems ridiculous and sad to me. They're really making him a loser. Unless in the end Carrie was right when she told her maybe it's not dead but "in a deep coma". We shall see.

David Eigenberg (Steve) is actually almost deaf in real life and that’s why his character is almost deaf!

I am a completely straight woman, but those intimate scenes bw Miranda and Che turn me on. Especially those closeups and the shotguns. Caliente!

I wish Miranda would knock it off with the Rambo moniker. It’s very played out. Sounds Boomer-ish at this point.
