NATO is basically an anti Russia defense pact. For years it has been hinting that Ukraine would join which would bring NATO to Russia’s border.

Dems agreed to save is speakership to get the debt ceiling through. I’m sure having their votes Fo Speaker is what got this passed. And reality is that McCarthy is the best of our bad choices. Dems would rather deal with him in 45 days than Gaetz’s MAGA puppet replacement. Unlike the FC McCarthy is a burn it all down guy.
