Are you in denial she is the best player in the Concorde again and didn’t deserve player of the year? Not like players get to vote. Blame it on the Concorde coaches. Parent hating on a special player who deserves any/all awards. That’s creepy.

Lot of outstanding players in the Concorde but none at the level of #11 Oakton.

Regionals are wide open. One bad or mediocre game and you are done. Districts not as important. Although some regions it pays to have that top seed

I’d counter with #22 out at centreville (when she’s not injured) and I think she’s a junior.

#22 CVille is a very good player no doubt. #11 Oakton is way better and was way better as a junior. The other middie is 1st team also and is nearly as good. The sophomore 2nd team middie is also very good. Let’s see what happens Friday. And let’s see if Centreville’s defense can stop Oakton. If the best defensive player in the conference is playing for Centreville then everthing will work out well for Centreville correct? 17 goals in first game where Oakton played like crap in first half actually. I see Oakton has 2 defensive 1st teamers and arguably have had a better season based on gail’s against. One of them a return 1st teamer. Highly overlooked. Sprinkle in a rock solid goalie. But who cares about defense? Again Cougars are more solid top to bottom than anyone in the Concorde. They can lose but highly doubtful in the Districts. Where is our line guy for the games Friday? I have Madison vs Oakton in another Concorde championship next week. And if Madison doesn’t play 50 they will lose again. You don’t beat SSSA and go undefeated by being a mediocre team.

I think the author was alluding to minutes in a full game as I don’t see any #50s on the roster for Madison. Maybe some smoking going on with that great stuff Oakton has apparently. Everyone has some good and bad points on this board. Play dictates the board posts. Come Saturday there will be some serious sh-t talking going on, win or lose.
