It's too convenient that in the two pictures they are wearing exactly the same clothes with the same backpack & necklace. There are some serious sick people out there and I wouldn't put it past someone to dress up like him and get snapped on their friends trail camera for their 15 seconds of fame. Wouldn't BL dispose of all his clothes from the trip whether they could be used as evidence against himself or for the simple reason he would want to get rid of anything that reminded him of that trip? |
WTF is right! What a bizarre comment! |
He was in the backwoods of rural FL caught on a deer trap camera - not like its an expectation to have CCTV out there. And a few days ago you guys were saying he wasn't that smart. So which is it? |
| My point is what caused the disarray? |
Living in a 40-square foot van on the road for three months... |
| So have his parents been arrested? I guess they can't until they declare that he is a wanted suspect in Gabby's murder (rather than just a person of interest). But you'd imagine law enforcement should be able to prove some sort of shenanigans by this point (taking lots of money out, emails and text messages, etc.). If his parents did take calculated steps to shelter Brian and allow him to get away, they should be in jail right now. |
No, didn’t you guys read that their stated plan from the outset in June when they started their trip was to end their trip in Oregon intending to arrive there by Halloween . Brian even told the cops this was their plan when they were talking to him on Aug 12th So, when I saw it was posted ? Aug 25th was it ? “ Happy Halloween” and a photo from an earlier part of the trip that that was either Gabby saying that “ this is the end of the blog and or trip “ it’s Halloween and look here is the proof I have a Pumkin Or, Brian using her phone posted that just after he killed her as in, “ Happy Halloween” “ our trip is over - good- bye Gabby” using one of her own prior photos Killers do that - it’s some weird power trip thing to try to possess the image / control the narrative of the person they killed |
| If it was him then why havent the police been able to catch him by now. You can only get so far on foot in a day. Add to that he has a backpack and nothing else. He was already camping for two months before this and you think he is going to go on the run "forever" with just a back pack, no tent and minimal food? He also had enough lead time to drive himself to the border and instead he is choosing to just walkabout? |
Well if they can’t get him, they should at least arrest the parents. Both of them! - for not cooperating with the police. |
Have you ever been to that part of Florida? It’s mostly swamp. It would be really hard to find someone in that massive preserve. I’ve been there. It’s just a huge mess of cypress colored water with areas of land and thick vegetation poking through. It’s possible a Gator found him first. |
Driving requires a car which he would have to steal unless his parents managed to find an unregistered vehicle with no traces to them. For all you know that backpack has 50 visa gift cards (again - untraceable) with $1,000 each loaded on them. The parents had the money. They've sold a total of 3 houses in Florida since 2013 and walked away with equity with all three. |
A lot of people don't realize there is a lot of rural and sparsely habited land in the U.S. perfect for hiding and burying bodies. If a random stranger hadn't driven by the van at the right moment in a 330,000 acre national park - they wouldn't have found Gabby's body either. Unfortunately for the cops, observant tourists don't vacation in Florida swamps voluntarily. |

My theory is that as the trip wore on - as is often the case for many of us - their different goals and life outlooks became increasingly glaring to each of them and put pressure on each of them - neither of whom had any sense of themselves without the other
Gabby wanted a fun loving time , wanted Brian to be basically positive outlook, enjoy nature and write about it - participate in the blog and the illusion - Brian, on the other hand - is basically an anti- social loner who wanted to escape - to hike off into the Tetons barefoot ( that behavior is telling ) to be survivalists living alone off the land and it wasn’t working out as he had set out with another person , who he had to return home to each night cause she was not comfortable even driving the van alone Do you see how Gabby becomes the mother figure to be resented in this scenario ? Brian starts to think he could do his wilderness adventure- if only there were no Gabby . He sees signs he would fail but rather than face himself, he projects his own sense of failure into her She in whining about the blog. Him calling it “ her little blog “ is very telling . He is dismissive of her value , he increasingly resents her , his rage at his purposeless life boils over and he kills her , yes, maybe while she was sleeping because he is a coward Then he drives her van back to FLA and sets off the way he wanted into the wilderness alone I hope he crosses another snake just like himself and meets a very painful death |
| So you believe he is willingly living in a swamp, with the bugs, gators, snakes and who knows what else without a tent? |
