Cuomo is slowly starting to reopen things!
Hes being super cautious, and gatherings are Limited to 10 people maximum.

Definitely gonna be nice to spend time with my family outdoors!

I think this is a step in the right direction

Maybe everyone else knew about this, but this is the first I'm hearing of it: ventilator death rate is NOT 88% but only 24%.

For the US as a whole, we are moving in the right direction.

Yesterday (Monday), deaths in USA 505, lowest since late March.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Weekly average deaths as of yesterday are about HALF (~1100/day) of what they were at the peak (~2200/day). (7-day average calculations smooth through the ups and downs over the week, especially weekends, when reporting seems to be "held" until Monday or Tuesday.)

USA new cases daily are down from the peak too, but not by as much, likely due to much increased testing.

All of these trends hold up for the US excluding NY as well.

Correct. But this is only temporary.
Restrictions will be Re-implemented after this weekend weekend.

Still, better than nothing!
I am just so grateful I got to go to the beach yesterday. It has finally been opened! Nature is beautiful
