You need a chemical “high” to get intimate? Sounds like you and your spouse got other issues going on.

Weed is natural, dose is mild, and it helps. I didn't say I NEEDED it. I have zero problems with using legal substances that enhance my life. I bet you use things to enhance your life too, like maybe doughnuts.

LMAO. Enhancing your life! That’s a good one. Please continue…

Who hurt you? Who failed at teaching you English?

NP

Whatever. Go on and keep enhancing your life! That is hilarious.

But really, what's your problem? I do not encounter people like you in my real life, so I am curious. Why do you care if other people enjoy edibles? What is so hilarious?

NP here. I’ll answer. This attitude reminds me of my parents generation. I can hear my mom talking about the dangers of weed and I don’t think PP can imagine any normal person partaking in edibles or smoking. It just bows their mind. They picture you as a stock photo of a meth addict with rotting teeth talking about life’s small pleasures.

I friend who had a bad coke addiction, and went through the 12-step program told me that everyone he ran into who was an addict started out with marijuana.

Gonna assume you are a young person? Or an old person who took Nancy Reagan seriously. For real I do not know who I am talking to. It's like afrer school specials I watched in the 80s.

If you have serious addiction problems in your family, it is a great idea to never partake. You have a risk factor, and maybe not far to fall. It is good to be cautious. But it's not cool to judge other people who make other choices.

Yes, probably every drug addict first drank alcohol, then tried pot. True story!

The part you are missing is that many many people stopped at drinking. Many ended with pot. Some tried LSD, cocaine. Some kept doing and some did not. Crack. Heroin, meth. NOW we might be in a sad story. But it's not like, oh, I tried pot and now suddenly I am I meth head. No way. Plenty of other factors in there.

People can enjoy alcohol, weed and maybe some of the others recreationally and not be losers or addicts. Yes it is a risk.

So because nearly everyone who ends up addicted to drugs harder than pot STARTED with the most available and least harmful (once) illegal drug means that EVERYONE who uses pot will use those harder drugs?

How does that make any sense?

It's difficult for smart people to comprehend, but the majority are stupid. They can't grasp ideas, and so they definitely should not do drugs. That's what I learned from this thread

I live where recreational use is legal, but I choose not to. I smoked occasionally in college and a few years after, but I won't smoke anything now for health reasons. I tried an edible once and threw up all night so I have no desire to use any marijuana at all. I also have quit alcohol. I'm 42 and I don't miss it. I want to set a good example for my kids for how to be healthy physically and mentally, and avoiding drugs and alcohol is part of that for me.

Just started DH on tincture and a vape pen. Tincture is amazing for his Parkinson’s. I’m a Gen X from a family with substance abusers however mj has been a godsend for those with autoimmune illnesses in our family. Equal parts CBD and Thc work best, no high, just the good parts.

Dinosaurs. All of you. I get the posters who don’t like weed because they’ve seen people they love go overboard. Those who don’t use weed as a crutch for all things and can handle it in moderation know it’s only a matter of time until it’s fully federally legal. Mushrooms will get there as well. They’re both much healthier than alcohol.

The entire DMV is legal.
