There is no reason for anyone to be unemployed right now.

Which companies would you recommend? WFH opportunities? Great pay? Or minimum wage retail work?

I strongly discourage any employer from hiring anyone who has been on unemployment for a long time. Those people simply do not want to work and will go back on unemployment at the first sign of resurgence of Covid. They'll claim to be afraid of Covid, but in reality, they're afraid of the concept of hard work. So, hire them at your peril.

Le Diplomate has a big 'NOW HIRING' sign across their website and they just hosted the President of the United States for lunch yesterday for god's sake.

Total.

This ends all programs except basic unemployment of 26 weeks from the state.

If you are on PUA, FPUC, MEUC, or PEUC it is canceled effective July 3rd.

If you have been on unemployment longer than 26 weeks (total), it is canceled effective July 3rd.

If you qualify for unemployment based on Covid, lack of childcare, pandemic emergency, it is canceled effective July 3rd.

If you have been on unemployment for less than 26 weeks, which basically means you started your claim in 2021, you will still be able to claim your full pay minus the $300/wk boost until the conclusion of your original claim.

I know a number of unemployed people on unemployment who are literally praying everyday for the pandemic to get worse so that they will continue to get more free money and stimulus checks. I find that attitude to be disgusting.

Maybe you should stop playing Xbox 24/7 and get out more, preferably to find a job. Get a part time job initially, as full time work may be too exhausting for you, given that you’ve spent more than a year on the couch.
