Rarely if any girls will get offers to go to Europe.

I do agree with you on your last point. Way too much social media, way to much marketing. Not nearly enough - get down to the basis training going on in this area. Bobby seems to have ruined any chance for FCV to be a destination club. The training is second on his list of things to do.

Why do YOU feel the need to brag, market and recruit on false promises? Why not develop your own players rather than poaching? Why not be honest about GAL and the long term prospects of this league? These poor kids and uninformed parents find themselves in too deep and stuck once they get to U14. A lot of unspoken regrets from these families

No it didn’t. It came up as a college commitment announcement. I follow their page. They also announce D3 and D2 commitments.

While much of their page is pure marketing for the purpose of recruitment and keeping their pool together, I consider this hands off.

As far as VMI, no they don’t have a great program. But the school is respected and a free education is worth the hardship for some. Not all....but some.

No one is going to Europe. These kids are high school students and are going to college and grad school after dropping thousands to play meh soccer in our so-called top leagues.

Again - how do you know no-one is going to Europe? All you know is that your kid is not going. Maybe you know about her teammates. But you are 100% wrong when you say "no-one". Some kids will go to Europe. Of course it's not going to be a lot of kids. But nor is it none. And the number is growing.

A player going to Europe changes nothing at all about the nature of high end girls soccer leagues here.
