Yes Butter 5/21 and it’s in English language. |
| I don’t understand the language but I like their Korean songs more. Their voices have more soul to them when they sing in their own language. |
Absolutely agree! As long as there are subtitles in English so I can loosely understand the lyrics, I prefer them to sing in their own language. It sounds so much better. |
| I heard they just added subtitles to the entire NPR Tiny Desk performance, that was a nice one |
I prefer them to sing in English so I can understand easily. Most of them are borderline fluent so I feel like they can write just as good lyrics in English as they usually do, or close. Unfortunately Dynamite was written FOR them and it definitely shows in the lyriicism, which was way below their standard. I am really excited for Butter I think it will be amazing. |

New concept art:
|
| Jungkook’s man bun lol. But I’m here for it honestly. |
| I think most of them are gay. |
I live for Jungkook in his ponytail. So hot. I'm also really excited to see Jimin's colored hair. It looks like it's rainbow hair? If anyone can rock that trend it's him! |
Wishful thinking! |
Why does that even matter? Straight or gay, Korean celebrities do their best to keep their private lives hush hush. |
prefer Junkooks hair when it was black and short (SNL performance), but I’ll take what I can get. Jimin’s hair 🌈 yes! |
Yes, it’s a totally different celeb culture. It’s a lot more conservative there, but I do believe the Korean public could come to accept a gay idol as long as he/she kept to their cultural norms about not putting all their couple business “out there.” They don’t have the same tabloid culture that we do where celebs will basically contract with the paparazzi and TMZ for publicity. It’s expected that celebs will keep their private lives private and idols can’t openly date, but can have relationships if they’re very low key about it. |
It matters because a lot of people are threatened by women crushing on these seven gorgeous asian men and call them gay as a way to try to desexualize them to women. Play 1 from the playbook |
| The fact that with the heavy makeup, most of them look like women, is what desexualizes them for me. A straight women who enjoys their music but does not find them remotely attractive. |
