All it took to win a council seat was to cater to 10,000 Takoma Park residents which would give you enough votes to make Top 4 in the At-Large Democratic primary which assures that you win the General. 10,000 Takoma Park voters basically controlling the government of a county with 1 million people.

Sounds to me like that's more on the rest of the county. Or perhaps Takoma Park just reflects the county as a whole the way Ohio did for presidential elections for many years.

Omertà! The Takoma Park mafia will get to you if you’re not careful.

It'll be interesting to see how effective they are against MS-13 once the schools are integrated with eastern PG county schools.

FFS, you’ve said this three times now and no one gave you any attention so you’re back. No takoma park schools are not going to be “integrated” with schools in another county so you can keep your racist “MS-13” references for another day.

So you support segregation. Huh.

And when did you stop beating your spouse?

This is a typical east county progressive gaslighting tactic. You're attempting to distract from the fact that you support segregation by throwing a flash-bang. It's not going to work. Answer the question. Do you support desegregation or not?

You keep misusing the word "gaslighting." It does not mean to distract or throw a flash-bang.

More gaslighting from this east county progressive. Thank you for making my point for me. So do you support desegregation or not?

People who use dictionaries are "east county progressives"?

OK, so I'll put you down for segregationist. That won't make you very popular at the co-op.

You’re talking to different people. No, no one supports segregation. But keeping country boundaries is not segregation. Why are you even banging on about this? What are you actually talking about? Why do you think there is some move to merge PG with MoCo, other than a desire to troll this thread?

It's obviously pure trolldom. The question, though, is whether she's being paid to troll or just bored.

There is a move to desegregate PG and MoCo schools. I started it. And I did so to give east county progressives what they want so dearly, more diversity. So do you support existing segregation or not? If you do then you're a racist. If you don't I encourage you to contact the BOE and let them know you support desegregation busing

Your arguments are about what I'd expect from a seventh grader just beginning to learn about public policy, but before leaning the subtleties of it.

Please keep us posted when you and your movement present your plan during public comments at the BOE meeting. I'll be sure to tune in.

I won't need to. Once I tell Moco For Change they'll be all over it. Those crazy kids and their idealism. And a few emails to western PG county PTAs should get the ball rolling on that end. Eastern MoCo is going to have all the diversity it wants and more.

The desegregation busing the BOE is interested in is to the W schools. You can try the PG county smokescreen all you want, but the point of emphasis is the complete lack of diversity in the W schools.

There only busing the BoE has proposed is realigning adjacencies to even things out between schools and clusters.

And would only be reassigning students who are already being bussed.

You've been talking about this for weeks and you haven't even sent the emails yet? I can see why your highest achievement is C- internet troll.

You mean the 4/10 high school is the strongest?

Yes, Blair also has 10X the National Merit Finalists, Regeneron Scholarships than the other HS. It's head and shoulders over those other schools.

Um, I don't know about that. The fact that it houses a sought-after Magnet program that is already pulling the "best" from the county, but still yields a 4/10 is pretty telling.
