that's NOT true - the CDC recommends that those vaccinated fully continue to wear masks and practice social distancing when with people who are not vaccinated. Because we (I'm vaccinated fully) can still spread covid to others they think - they are studying this so this might change but at this time, haven't you seen the "I'm fully vaccinated but I still wear a mask and socially distance" ads? CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html when with fully vaccinated people, you may go mask-free. with unvaccinated people, keep mask on. (and more but this is about masks) |
You and many other people, which is why covid continues to spread. |
|
I cannot understand the kind of person who gets bothered by this.
Do you know how covid is spread? You need close, unventilated interactions for a period of time. There is zero indication covid is being spread running around in open, outdoor playgrounds, especially if kids are not constantly on top of each other. What's even worse is these mask strictists often pretend to support science. I feel so bad for the kids who have parents that have uncontrolled mental health and rope the kids into their issues. |
| Outdoors and distanced? Why would you wear a mask. And the whole point of masking after vax is just to avoid the kind of "vax not vaxxed" issues that might pop up. Everyone knows you don't need to mask after vax. |
who is everyone? You? |
| I took my kid and his two cousins to Palisades Park this afternoon. They were the only ones unmasked. We laughed about it on the way home. People around here are nuts. |
That is the main way it is spread, but not the only way. Kids are gross. They sneeze and cough all over each other. How does it hurt you if someone else wears a mask. Not at all. |
No the recommendation is for everyone to keep masking unless everyone in the group is fully vaccinated if you are indoors or unable to socially distance. If you are outside AND social distanced I don't think it's a big deal to take off your mask. There are cases of people transmitting it outdoors, but you need proximity and enough time. So sick of morons like you continuing to spread disinformation just so you can justify taking your mask off all the time. |
But for secondary school teachers there was increased risk of illness without the masks. |
Masking after being vaccinated has nothing to do with the spread of the virus, but is a simple public policy measure. If vaccinated people stop wearing masks, unvaccinated people will do the same, which will ultimately lead to more disease and more deaths. |

science says outdoors with social media is almost zero chance of getting covid.

Suffocating? LOL. Oh, can it with the everloving melodrama. |
+1. But why do that, when they can just whine like toddlers that they’re “suffocating” and make excuses?
|
Oh, please. Citation needed. Legitimate medical sources only, please. We’ll wait. |
And then the entire playground clapped. |
