| Sometimes Nicole Kidman looks amazing in this but other times its obviously a wig and a stretched rubber face (with a Joker like mouth). And her clothes are always autumnal colors and velvet or satin. |
I’m fairly sure that’s her real hair. |
| Comcast has free HBO Max through Sunday. I just watched the first five episodes. I think Kidman looks great in this. |
I think it’s her teal hair also. But I don’t like how she’s always made up (makeup) and how her face looks different than before. |
This is one of my guesses as well. I also think it could be (and hope it will be) Jonathan, and the whole show is designed to show us how easy it is for a smooth sociopathic dude to gaslight everyone around him and make them question the obvious. But it’s probably Sylvia. And I think Grace’s dad knows it. |
| Is there any chance that HBO doesn’t wrap this up tonight? I noticed that they are calling it the “season 1” finale and not the “series” finale (like The Queen’s Gambit for example). I’m gonna be pissed if there’s a cliffhanger!! |
Lily Rabe seems to confirm this theory on her personal IG early last week: “What’s Sylvia hiding?” https://www.instagram.com/p/CH7A_7DHAqJ/ |
No its 100% a wig made to look like what her hair was like in her youth. Its now straggly and thin - she wears wigs all the time. |
According to this, a second season is unlikely. https://tvline.com/2020/11/18/the-undoing-season-2-renewal-hbo-nicole-kidman/ |
| What did you all think? I didn’t like the ending. |
I imagined he would have done it in the end, but I felt the ending was disappointing given al the build up in the previous episodes. It was a weak ending compared to the rest of the series and I thought the other characters would have at least been unknowingly involved somehow. |
Exceptionally disappointing. They had so many possible routes to take and they took Lame Ending. |
| The ending felt a little forced. I think there should have been some subtle indications throughout the series to have the reveal make sense. |
Was f-ing terrible. |
There were. There were clear indicators in every episode that Jonathan was a manipulative, narcissistic psychopath, but the show also forced significance on everyone around him and that felt stupid in the end. |
