I’m surprised that all these pages in and no one has mentioned how hot Fernando was (Elena’s husband). Wowzers.

One part I found so unbelievable was when Jonathan went to Fernando’s house and Fernando actually offered to let him hold the baby!?! After Jonathan had an affair with and probably murdered Fernando’s wife?? So unbelievable.

Nope I read those, because they actually contain relevant information, whereas the opening credits do not always have much more than some shots of the sky and crappy music.

I love opening credits - they can be very creative and have lovely music. All those episodes in, and I still watched the Game of Thrones opening credits every. single. time.

I could watch the Big Little Lies opening credits over and over again...the scenery was fabulous. It made me want to pack up and move.

We finally moved back to California when we were homesick watching the Big Little Lies opening.

BLL’s opening is not one to skip over. I added stops to every BLL location the last time we were in Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur, etc. We even accidentally stumbled across shooting for BLL season 2. The opening and the overall location was really one of the best ever.

yes, she is a great actress but I noticed her accent slipping immediately (I am also British). I agree they should just have stuck with the british accent. After all, there are a couple of hundred thousand brits in nyc...

To me Haley’s accent was fine. It seemed to allude to a Carribean or British or even East African background. The accent didn’t bother me at all; in fact made Haley seem like even more of a bad ass - though my impression of her changes through the course of the show.

I'm finally caught up and can now participate in this thread. I had some questions about the ending. We were supposed to conclude he was a terrible monster with NPD but between the sisters death and Elena's murder there was just decades of being a healer, helping sick kids, and not much else. Yes the murder was terrible but what else was there in his history? Seems like there should be a clearer pattern of behavior. Did the book flesh this out more?

Well to be more in tune with the actual actor who is from Puerto Rico, I think he looks like a young Benicio del Toro, who was really handsome as a young actor, and also from Puerto Rico.

I loved the Undoing. I thought there might have been more of a twist in the ending though

Yes the book fleshed out some of Jonathan's behavior over the years, but it was done in a retrospective manner (so looked back after this all went down).
